Excursión de medio día a Tintoreras desde la isla Isabela
Descripción
"Las Tintoreras", un grupo de pequeños islotes llenos de ensenadas y playas escondidas. El islote de Tintoreras se encuentra al sur de Puerto Villamil. Tiene una bahía donde es posible observar leones marinos, tortugas marinas, iguanas marinas, rayas, etc. Esta bahía está conectada a una grieta superficial de aguas cristalinas que se cierra cuando la marea está baja. En esta grieta es posible ver tiburones de punta blanca nadando con el resto de peces tropicales y leones marinos.

El guía te recogerá en el lobby del hotel, (recogida en el hotel dentro del perímetro urbano de Puerto Villamil) o te podemos dar un buen punto de encuentro para unirte a nosotros.
Iniciamos la actividad a las 09:00 AM o 14H00 PM desde la Isla Isabela. Desde la bahía nos dirigimos a un conjunto de islotes llamados Tintoreras. ¡Conocido por ser el hábitat de pingüinos y tiburones de punta blanca! Podemos avistar estas lindas aves y tenemos grandes posibilidades de encontrar lobos marineros a lo largo de las costas. Otros animales que podemos observar mientras rodeamos los islotes son: rayas, tortugas marinas, maracuyá, carpas doradas, etc. Disfrutamos del tiempo de snorkeling cerca del sitio, observaremos tortugas marinas, lobos marinos, tiburón tinte, diferentes tipos de mantarrayas, varios tipos de peces, pingüinos de galápagos, etc.). Observación de aves (piqueros de patas azules y otras aves) Caminata de islotes Observación de formaciones de rocas volcánicas.
El bote cae en el muelle de Puerto Villamil y usted puede ir a su hotel solo.

The group never arrived for our agreed upon pickup location. The company claimed they did but we were there on time and never saw anyone. The trip was scheduled in the afternoon, the morning of, someone from the tour company reached out to confirm the time AND pickup location. We confirmed via whats-app and replied letting them know we weren't staying at that hotel (we were staying at the neighboring hotel) but we would be in the lobby at the start of the pickup window. The window comes and goes and we reached out to the company with no reply, still have not received one to this day. The boat group claimed they looked for us but we never saw them in the lobby. Even if we were late, (which we were not) leaving before the agreed upon window and without making an attempt to contact the customer is not appropriate. The company never attempted to make a refund or rebook us for their error.
Dear customer we were in the meeting point and in the time we told you but you went by yourself before we plan the pick up and you did not appear. It is not our fault you went to the meeting point before the time we told you. I recommend putting the nam of the hotel your are staying to plan the pick up not another hotel.
Excellent tour. We got to see eagle rays, white tip sharks and great view of blue footed boobies. The surprise was a group of Galápagos sharks. The snorkeling was little average but that is just luck. would recommend going in the morning for this tour instead of the afternoon that we did. The guide was excellent with lot of knowledge on the local flora, fauna and landscape.
A quick, whistlestop tour of the inlet with a fabulous guide, captain and assistant. We saw so many sealions, turtles, iguanas and blue footed boobies! Its like being in a wildlife documentary! There is time to snorkle for a bit too. A nice, compact tour after a hectic, tiring few days

This tour was fantastic - we were able to see and learn about the wildlife on land and in the water. I would suggest doing this tour in the morning/low tides as visibility was pretty bad once we finally got into the water to snorkel. Still a great tour!

The boat ride and the snorkeling spots were terrific too bad it was a drizzling and overcast that day. We saw do many sea turtles that we swam with and even a large sea horse. There were sea lions including fur sea lion, blue footed boobies, and a couple of cute penguins. This area is so cool and raw nature with all the volcanic underwater bridges - looks like it was just created out of primordial ooze.

AmaZing experience! We loved it! Kids had a great time! It’s not a “half day” tour- more like 2 1/2 hours. We would have liked more time to snorkel, but it is fantastic! Great guide!
