Walid picked us up from our hotel and we had a great experience. He was very experienced and spoke perfect English. I wanted to visit the great mosque and he made that happened even though we were told that the mosque was closed that day. He suggested a great place to eat lunch which made our experience even better.
The guide Amer had a high energy and was very kind. Learned a lot about the local culture and it was very practical and flexible in terms of what we wanted to do the most, totally recommend. Best way to know the city mixing local and touristic lens.
A little bit of everything of Kuwait in a few hours. City and desert. A nice experience to get a grip of Kuwait in a short time.
Our tour guide, Walied, did a great job showing us the sights of Kuwait. We were able to see the Grand Mosque of Kuwait, several museums, and the Kuwaiti desert all in one day. Walied also seamlessly arranged a visit requested by us to an additional mosque we were interested in. We highly recommend Walied and his excellent tour.
It was a good opportunity to get orientated to Kuwait City and a few of its museums. The day ended with an opportunity to eat dinner and shop in the souk.
ABSOLUTE WORST EXPERIENCE! BEWARE AND DONT BOOK!! We booked for 8am and no one showed. Contacted Viator and they said operator told them it’s too early they will arrive at 9:30. So why was the 8am slot available in the first place?? 9:30am no one shows up. Contact them again and they said they are too busy and will just cancel. We totally wasted hours and leaving Kuwait today. So disappointed and they should be banned from Viator
A little bit everything. The weather wasn't favorable.
A very nice day spent in Kuwait city. The guide did a good job, answering all my questions and showing the diversity of the city.
Thank you for your kind feedback. I’m glad you enjoyed your day in Kuwait City and that the tour gave you a clear view of the city’s diversity. Answering questions and adapting the experience to each guest is a core part of how I guide, so I’m pleased this stood out for you. Thank you for joining the tour, and I hope to welcome you again for another in-depth experience in Kuwait.
We were in Kuwait with a business club of 13 people from the Netherlands. We booked a city tour with Walid. He was flexible as our flight in was delayed and we had a great tour through the highlights of Kuwait City with the mini van. Walid especially had great feeling of where to stay a bit longer, and where to speed up a little and his English is very understandable. You see all the highlight of Kuwait City in half a day and I can fully recommend Walids tour!
Thank you Tom for your detailed review and for choosing our Kuwait City guided tour during your visit. It was a pleasure hosting your Dutch business group. We have strong experience with group tours in Kuwait, so managing timing, transport, and last-minute changes—such as delayed flights—is part of our standard operation. I’m glad the half-day city tour format, private minivan, and flexible pacing delivered a smooth and efficient experience. What truly sets our tours apart from other Kuwait sightseeing tours is the focus on storytelling and expertise. We don’t just drive guests between landmarks; we provide in-depth explanations about Kuwait’s history, culture, economy, and modern development at every stop. Each location is carefully selected and explained so visitors understand why it matters, not just where it is. Our tours are ideal for business travelers, corporate groups, and first-time visitors to Kuwait who want a meaningful, informative experience rather than a silent ride between attractions. The goal is simple: leave Kuwait with real knowledge, clear context, and a complete picture of the country. Thank you again for the strong recommendation, and we would be happy to welcome you back on another private or group tour in Kuwait City.
Walid is a great guide, patience, he really wanted us to enjoy the tour. Forget about rushing us, he insisted if we needed more time at each location. He’s knowledgeable. Overall an amazing day where I learnt a lot about Kuwait, its history. The date & Arabian. Coffee at one of the stops were a nice touch. Thank you !!
Thank you very much for your wonderful review Humyra. I’m really happy to hear that you felt relaxed and never rushed during the tour. Giving guests the time they need at each location is essential—this is not a checklist tour, it’s an experience. My priority is always that guests truly enjoy the visit and feel comfortable throughout the day. I’m especially glad you appreciated the explanations about Kuwait, its history, and its cultural roots—from the dates to the Arabian coffee traditions. Sharing these details is what transforms a city tour into a real cultural journey, and it’s something I focus on deeply rather than just moving between stops. Thank you again for your kind words. It was a pleasure guiding you, and you’re always welcome back to explore more of Kuwait.
