El recorrido incluye como primera parada la llegada al primer sitio arqueológico, o Herculano. Esta antigua ciudad romana es un poco más pequeña que Pompeya, pero sin embargo tiene famosos monumentos arquitectónicos para visitar. En Herculano hay muchos monumentos para visitar, como la Casa dello Skeletro, la Casa dell'Albergo y la Casa con bottega. Tras la visita a las excavaciones arqueológicas de Herculano, te dirigirás hacia las de Pompeya.
Aquí tendrás la oportunidad de visitar los principales atractivos religiosos, como: el Templo de Vespasiano, el Templo de Fortuna Augusta, visitarás casas particulares entre ellas: la Casa del Poeta Trágico y la Casa de los Vettii, y mucho más. . Finalmente, Pompeya y Herculano, declarados Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO, son los únicos sitios arqueológicos del mundo capaces de dar al visitante una descripción clara de lo que fue un centro habitado romano. Dentro de las excavaciones de Pompeya te acompañará un guía que te facilitará la comprensión de lo que verás.

We had a great tour with our driver Michele, who was really friendly and accomodating allowing us to extend the tour with an extra side trip to Mount Vesuvius. We enjoyed our tour of Pompeii & had a good guide, but it is a very large area to cover & was very hot & crowded. Preferred Herculaneum which was a lot smaller, quieter, easy to walk around, with remarkably preserved two-storey buildings, with more intact frescoes & mosaics.

Our driver Antonello was absolutely the best! On our drive from Positano to Pompeii, he told us a bunch of history and locations that we drive past. On the way back he even stopped at a point that overlooks Positano for a lemon sorbet. It was delicious and a beautiful view! Our tour guide Claudia in Pompeii was incredible and informative. We loved learning all the rich history of Pompeii. Herculaneum was also even better to learn more. Definitely recommend!

This is a very nice 1/2 day excursion. We were picked up in Ravello at 10am and were back at 5pm. Our driver, Michele, was very professional and very nice. He did a great job communicating with us and has a great personality. Roberta was an excellent guide for both Pompeii and Herculaneum. I can’t imagine seeing these sites without a guide. Her knowledge and ability to get us to see the key items was well appreciated. And, Antonio did a great job communicating with us on all details so we knew where to meet the driver with no anxiety during the day.
