Tour culinario de medio día en República Dominicana con recogida

Jose was the best! The experience was personalized and the restaurants he took us to were amazing! The first one, Zoho I never wanted to leave, literally right on the beach, the pineapple margarita was the best and the food was our favorite! Jose was well known and he stayed with us at every stop, giving us a great sense of security!

Jose was such a great host. Very communicative, friendly, and honest. Zoho Beach and Casita de YeYa were great. After dessert, we were so full we couldn't go for the drinks. 10/10 highly recommend!

It started out shaky! But, overall it was a wonderful experience. We had a great group and blended well. The restaurants were a little expensive, but the food was good. Would have been 5 stars if we didn't start out so late and there were more authentic Dominican restaurants to visit.

We love doing culinary tours when we visit different places. We want to eat where the locals eat, and this tour did not disappoint. Juan was a wonderful tour guide, and we never felt rushed. We liked that we were able to choose the foods to try, but did take recommendations from Juan.

You buy your food at each restaurant. It’s well priced and I’d suggest eating at each one, especially Zoho

This was a poorly organized experience. To be fair we had a large group that the organizer said would be accommodated. We understood that you go around to different places and would get appetizers here, entree here etc. Well we spent an hour and a half at ZoHo waiting for appetizers and then another hour waiting for entrees at the second restaurant. At that point we called it early and didn’t go to the others. This might be a great experience for a couple but definitely not a large group. Which is totally fine had that been known to as before booking the tour. Food was also nothing particularly exciting.

The restaurants that we were taken to was delicious!!! Wasn’t disappointed at all, give it a try. José was the coolest driver ever!!

This experience was fantastic. Jose was an amazing tour guide, he was very well prepared, knowledgeable, hospitable and fun!. We started out at SOHO for appetizers and drinks on the beach. Then we went to Captain Cooks on the beach, then to Dolce for dessert and espresso martinis. We stopped at a Cigar Lounge in Los Corales that had music, shots and hookah. The final stop of the night was Havana bar on the downtown club strip for music, drinks and entertainment. The whole experience was well over 4 hours, Jose allowed us to have plenty of time at every location. We never felt rushed we had a fantastic time! Our only regret is that we waited until our last night to take this tour. Next time we are in DR we will definitely take this half day tour with Jose again.

This half day excursion was wondeful!!! Our driver (Jose) was very punctual with time. He messages us letting us know his eta. He was very accommodating, my wife left her phone and he waited while she went to go it! This excursion only pays for the transportation. The restaurant is a sepereate cost, I knew this but I like to give all information to future tourists. He took us to 3 different restaurants for different parts of your experience. The first restaurant (ZOHO)we went to was for appetizers, we ordered the mozzarella sticks and chicken croquettes, they were soooo AMAZING!!! when we come back to DR we plan to have a complete meal from here and the view was absolutely beautiful we sat right off of the beach so pretty. The couple who joined us was so much fun it made the excursion more relaxed and enjoyable. We enjoyed each other's company so much that we sat together for all of the restaurants, it was very nice to be able to interact with another couple during the tour! The second restaurant we picked was Captain Cook seafood restaurant. The seafood was very fresh and delicious we also sat off the beach at this restaurant. For dessert Jose asked if we wanted to try a new place we agreed he did inform he had never gone just heard about it. The dessert place was (Enjoy) ,this place was a disspointment unfortunately the prices and the serving size did not go hand and hand. The ice cream was delicious, the red velvet cake was super hard and extremely dry. Our total came out to be $41 USD for 2 dry and hard cupcakes, four 1/8 cup ice cream scoops, and 2 waters. This place was a disappointment. We expresses to Jose it was a flop and not to take anymore of his tourists to this place again Jose was so apologetic, but he wasn't the blame at all. Jose hospitality was amazing. He made us feel comfortable and he offered us drinks in the van. He was also willing to drive us to some bars, but it was getting late, we were stuffed and tired lol.
