Hacienda Alsacia Starbucks Coffe Tour

Our team visited Hacienda Alsacia for the Starbucks Coffee Tour as a team activity, and it was a fantastic experience. The location is beautiful, the tour was well organized, and the staff were extremely helpful with planning. It was very informative, and everyone on our team had a great time. Highly recommended!

I have never been a coffee drinker as I don’t find the smell or taste appealing but don’t begrudge any e who does. Visited this Starbucks R&D site with my wife and niece who does drink coffee. I found the location beautiful and the short distance walking tour very informative. It gives one an appreciation of what it takes to “make coffee” prior to your barrister.

A rather disappointing tour. The tour of the farm is really just a path of about 100-150 meters where you only walk around the store. You walk about 20 meters and they tell you part of the process, you walk another 20 meters and they tell you another part, and so on for an hour and a fraction. There are a couple of coffee plants, but it's not like you walk through the fields or anything. In the end, you return to the cafeteria and the "tasting" is that they serve you a cup of coffee for you to drink. So it doesn't have much appeal, nor is it worth what it costs. A couple of days before, we went on a coffee and chocolate tour in La Fortuna, it's a whole world of difference, that one is highly recommended.

Really interesting tour. Learn a lot about the coffee industry in Costa Rica. Although it’s a Starbucks farm, the coffee grown is primarily for future of coffee rather than supplying into mainstream industry.

The process should be viewed better; for me, it was very basic. Perhaps I am not the target audience, as I have lived through the process. In terms of price and quality, it is not right.

The Coffee Tour of Hacienda Alsace seemed like a good experience, although I feel it could improve. The entire coffee process cannot be fully understood experientially, as much of it is explained by presentations, rather than directly in action. Even so, the tour is interesting and well organized. In the end, they offer a coffee tasting that closes the experience well. Overall, it is a pleasant activity, but with the opportunity to be more interactive and authentic.

Awesome experience!! Sweet and short! Beautiful place and very friendly staff! Be ready to taste some amazing coffee!

I called in the morning to ask if they accepted pets to which they told me that only in the garden part, nothing else was specified, when I show up to the place they tell me that only with pet card to which I communicate that I was not told this by call, when asked if we can only go in to order a smoothie and wait outside in the garden while they order the only thing they tell us is that they can bring us the menus outside, the receptionist very rude and makes angry gestures. As for the other very kind boy but the woman lacks professionalism

Nice view. Informative tour. Don't expect a restaurant. The Cafe food is only what a Starbucks normally has.
