“¡Oh alcázar de la alegría! ¡Oh salón de oro! Con vosotros colmé mis anhelos. Si en mi reino sólo eso tuviera, Ninguna otra cosa echaría de menos.” Así describió Al-Muqtádir, rey de la taifa de Saraqusta, su recién construida residencia de recreo, el Palacio de la Aljafería. Desde que fue edificado en el s. IX, ha tenido diferentes dueños y usos como palacio de los Reyes Católicos, tribunal y cárcel del Santo Oficio o cuartel militar, hasta el actual como sede de las Cortes de Aragón. Este palacio es un indispensable del arte hispanomusulmán y está declarado Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO dentro del conjunto “Arquitectura mudéjar de Aragón”. En esta visita veremos todas las estancias abiertas al público y nos sumergiremos en ellas gracias a recreaciones digitales, fotografías, sonidos y olores que nos transportarán a lo largo de los siglos. the guide only speaks Spanish, not possible to have another, they should implement audio guides in several languages. very magnificent place all the same

El palacio de la Aljafería cuenta con una app en otros idiomas así como explicaciones en radio guía pero ese es un servicio completamente diferente al nuestro ¡Un saludo!
The palace is very beautiful and the history very interesting. Our tour guide was very helpful. We took the tour in Spanish, but she took time to give us a synopsis in English. I lost a hearing aid there and she was extremely helpful in my being able to retrieve it. Thankfully a guard found it and turned it in. I highly recommend the tour, but prebook for a different language!

Wonderful guided tour we took with Blanca to the Aljafería, very professional, enjoyable, approachable, and kind. We arrived a little late and even so she allowed us to join the group and when the tour ended she stayed just with us to explain the part of the visit that we had missed. Tickets available in ticket office. The failure of online tickets purchase is not correct. I bought the guided tour with only Spanish available at more than double the price is a waste of time and money as we don'tunderstand. With AI, take a photo and ask Gemini give us good guidance already. The palace is very interesting and beautiful, definitely worth a visit, especially as tickets is just few Euros.
