Deja que Guatapé hable por sí solo: la piedra del Peñol y una de las represas hidroeléctricas más grandes del país.
Nadie sabe de donde salió esta enigmática piedra y hay todo tipo de teorías sobre su origen. Aunque parezca desafiante, te darás cuenta cuan reconfortante es subir sus 700 escalones para ver una de las más asombrosas vistas que Colombia puede ofrecer.
Una vez todos hayan bajado de la piedra se transportarán por el pueblo de El Peñol hacia Guatapé. Ahí podrán caminar por las coloridas calles a lo largo de la represa, aprendiendo acerca de la historia detrás de esta belleza creada por el hombre. Tras eso, irán a un restaurante típico para disfrutar de un delicioso y tradicional almuerzo.
La represa fue creada después de haber inundado el antiguo pueblo de El Peñol. Ahora es la responsable de generar electricidad para millones de personas. Podrás visitarla en bote después del almuerzo y visitarás una de las únicas casas que quedan después de la inundación, en este lugar tendrás una gran porción de historia detrás del pueblo y sus supersticiones.

- Este tour ofrece una opción compartida sin almuerzo, guía turístico ni paseo en bote. Incluye recogida y regreso a tu alojamiento, entrada a la Piedra del Peñol y seguro de riesgos. Se requiere un mínimo de 2 personas para que el tour se lleve a cabo. Si solo una persona reserva y no se cumple con el mínimo, se le ofrecerá al cliente un cambio de fecha o un reembolso del 100%.
- La recogida para el tour compartido será entre las 8 y 9 AM, dependiendo de la ruta de los hoteles

The Peñol Rock and the town walk were good, but the boat ride was a waste of time. (Don't go to the Boat Ride). I suggest going early in the morning to avoid the crowd.

Julio was the best driver. He drove very well and gave us the best recommendation for lunch. The tour company communicates very well over WhatsApp so we never had any doubts about the booking. Having our own driver meant we got to different spots as quickly as we wanted and didn’t have to wait for a whole tour bus of people. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful experience with Artur. He picked our family up in a very nice van and took us on the boat ride, we climbed the rock and had a wonderful lunch. The town tour was my favorite part. We saw lots of murals and authentic artwork. Artur was very knowledgeable, kind and thoughtful. The driver was too.

I had a group of 11 people and really wanted to prioritize getting back home at a certain time. This was the only tour that felt flexible and truly seemed to listen to what I wanted.
