We had the best time! Chaz and TK did an amazing job taking us to see both humpback and orca whales as well as teach us all about the whales. This trip was incredible!
My family (kids 13 & 11) had a fantastic afternoon on the water with Captain Gabe and Utah. We saw multiple pods as well as big horn sheep, bald eagles. The crew were outstanding: knowledgeable, safe, fun. Would highly recommend this experience for families with kids (elementary school age and up). 5 star experience
Everything from check-in through sailing was first class. Our boat captain Phil skillfully drove the boat directly to a pod of three orcas. We were able to follow them for quite a while. Our naturalist/deckhand, Harry, was a super resource to answer a million questions about the orcas, the wildlife, and stories about the islands. We found another pod of eight orcas on our way back to dock. We saw whales and so much more than whales! Exceeded all expectations!!
Great experience. Gab and Paige were excellent. Tripped on un even cement out by stairs to deck. Fell pretty hard. Please take care of fixing or marking that up so no one else falls. Paige got bandaids quickly and was helpful.
Great experience whale watching—we highly recommend!
If you're booking a trip in the PNW you're doing it for the Orcas, and they will find them if they're findable. The experience is going to vary based on your weather, so dress for that. The vessel is large enough that it is stable in the relatively calm water in the islands. The Captain and Naturalist were great with our kids and answered numerous questions about the animals we saw.
They were great, no frills but experienced captains, very knowledgeable and followed all guidelines on being respectful of the natural environment/habitat. You can tell how much they like their job by the smiles on their faces while we watched the orcas swim, play and eat :)
Beautiful sites and crew was fantastic. Shelia had a younger trainee who was very nice The water was calm and we saw pods of orcas. You just can't get to close Take good binoculars or nice zoom cameras I will do this again!
Gorgeous scenery. Orcas Island is beautiful. We started from Seattle and we’re gone all day. Farther away than we realized. It was worth it but a long day. Saw 2 hump backs!! Goal achieved
Chaz and Ruby and Elliot were a great crew! They were all clearly very personally excited to be out there which was a special touch. We saw a humpback whale, a porpoise, lots of seals and sea lions and 2 pods of orcas! The day was long and tiring but really worth it. Definitely recommend bundling up if going in a colder season!
