Guanacaste full day: Explora la naturaleza, caballos, perezosos y cascadas

TOUR —> MIRAVALLES THERMOMANIA 11.5hrs - A dream day ! First stop we visited the majestic Catarata Llanos del cortes waterfull. We were 2 ladies and 2 other ladies were on the tour with us. Our tour guide Tio, took most of the photos. I was very thankful for this, as my phone died at 11:30 in the morning. And he is fantastic at taking photos. He made sure to communicate with us all day. Asking us if we were ready for the next adventure or if we needed lunch, etc.. Then we drove to our Mountain tour, where we were in a rain forrest that is a Sloth protected area, Jeffrey our tour guide, and Omar our machete handler & creature finder, showed us so many animals of the Rainforest. We were able to see an 8 month old sloth, the red eyed tree frog & the eggs she left underneath a leaf over a pond, and the poisonous strawberry dart frog. We also saw a Harpy Eagle in the treetops, that eats baby sloths. We did also see an adult three toed sloth. And an adult two toed, but this one was very high up. We ate the most incredible bananas, that Omar cut from a banana tree and washed for us. We ate it while we walked the rainforest. We were not wearing any bug spray, as the sloths do not like the smell. Jeffrey, our tour guide took us off trail and dumped a shampoo plant into each of our hands, to rub the citronella liquid on our bodies as a natural bug repellent. It smelled beautiful! After this, we headed to our sugarcane, coffee, and chocolate tour location. Jeffrey was our tour guide here as well. And Tio continued to take our photos. This was incredible. We learned so much about all three of these plants. And we did individual activities with each item. We milled sugarcane and drank the juice. We danced and sang and shook Morocco‘s, while making chocolate. And We made tea from the chocolate bean shells! We roasted coffee beans, and shelled them, and grinded them, and made our own coffee! We had so much fun ! Then we drove to the restaurant, we enjoyed lunch at. Which was included in the tour price. And was a traditional Costa Rican meal. It was absolutely delicious. One of the ladies we were on tour with, was celebrating her birthday. The restaurant served us cake, while we sang her happy birthday. It was so wonderful. My daughter and myself chose a massage instead of horseback riding. After lunch, we enjoyed Thermomania, nestled on the slopes of the majestic Miravalles Volcano. Located in the heart of Costa Rica's geothermal activity. We each had a long, relaxing, massage at the thermo spa. That was absolutely incredible, and completely rejuvenated me after our long travel days . Then Immersed ourselves in a volcanic mud bath surrounded by nature, with a view of the volcano, while sitting in the thermal hot Springs. We also enjoyed the enclosed water sauna, This was a favorite. We truly felt like we became family with the 2 ladies on this tour with us, and all of our tour guides. We laughed and smiled the entire time ! And learned so much, Tio was fantastic at teaching us the history of the Guanacaste province, during our drives! We will absolutely be booking another tour with this company, during our stay.

Incredible tour in Costa Rica! Theo, our guide and driver, made the day unforgettable. Very professional, attentive, and with a great sense of humor. The places we visited were great and he explained everything to us with a lot of patience. We had a great time from start to finish. I totally recommend the company and this tour!

The best tour guides in Costa Rica NO QUESTION!! Teo was incredible, we quickly became friends and loved our time with him and the tour. The sloths were amazing, I didn't expect us to be able to stand eye level, a foot away from a baby sloth. Incredible experience. Teo really made it special for us and I love that they do small groups instead of massive amounts. We did two with them and both times it was just the perfect amount of people.

This tour was educational, fun and a great way to explore wildlife, nature, local food and traditions without the crowds!

I have traveled all over the world and have taken many tours, but can’t remember having nicer tour guides. Everyone was so nice from the time we were picked up at our hotel until the time we were dropped off. If you want to see Costa Rica in one day and experience tons of fun in the process, this tour is for you.

This was the best experience! Theo, our driver, was absolutely amazing! He was nice, knowledgeable, and got us safely to all destinations. He even got us to the waterfall first and we had it completely to ourselves for 30 minutes! Truly no other tour experience was as wonderful as with Theo. The activities themselves were amazing and so fun! It was the perfect day. The company was truly great to work with and worked around what worked for us. The price point is great for all that is included. We booked directly with the company and would definitely recommend contacting them via WhatsApp. Jeffery and Titi with the sanctuary and coffee/chocolate/sugar tour were wonderful as well. This was the best day of our vacation!

We booked an adventure with this company to explore the Guanacaste region, and I have to say—it was worth every penny. My wife and I, along with two friends, spent the entire day immersed in culture, nature, and fun. The day started early with our driver, who was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and kept us informed about the region throughout the journey. This tour was incredible from start to finish! We were picked up right on time from our house, and the ride to the waterfalls was comfortable and easy. Our guide was fantastic—knowledgeable, friendly, and very attentive throughout the hike. The experience ended with a fun and relaxing tubing ride down the river, which was such a unique touch. When we got back, a delicious lunch was waiting for us—honestly better than expected. I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area!

We had a wonderful time and experience. You definitely get your moneys worth. Theo really went the extra mile for us even with such a large group. All of the people leading each of the tours were super friendly and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this experience. My one recommendation would be to bring a few snacks because it is a pretty action packed day.
