Lee was delightful. Knowledgeable and affable, Lee shared so many interesting details about Londoners’ history and experiences during WWII. Lee also shared wonderful stories about Churchill. He tailored the tour perfectly to the needs and interests of our group of 3 (two adults and one HS aged teenager). We loved it!
Thank you for your wonderful review! We’re so pleased to hear that Lee made the tour such a memorable experience for your family. His passion for London’s wartime history and Churchill’s remarkable story really shines through, and it’s great to know he tailored the tour to suit the interests of your small group. We’ll be sure to pass along your kind words to Lee. Thanks again for joining us, and we hope to welcome you on another tour soon!
Moderate walk. Stops along the way. Starts at the British War Memorial which is fascinating. Continues toward Big Ben and Parliament and on to the Churchill War Rooms. Our guide Marnie was wonderful!

This tour was packed with Churchill/WWII history and our family of four loved it! I was a little nervous to see if my 11 and 8 year olds would like it, but it was a hit for the whole family! Our guide, Pepe, was amazing. He was so knowledgeable, personable, and gladly answered all of my 8 year old’s questions! :) This tour was just our family and the tour guide which was a nice, intimate experience. The war rooms were cool but we actually enjoyed the walking tour leading up to the war rooms even more.
Thank you for taking the time to leave such a lovely review for Pepe and the tour! It’s always great to hear the whole family had a wonderful time discovering Churchill’s history and we hope you’ll join us to explore more soon.
We had Lee as our guide and he tailored the tour perfectly around our interests, questions and events of the day. It was a real joy to learn about the history and have a change of the mounted guards in the mix. Would strongly recommend!

We’re glad you had a fabulous time with Lee and we hope you’ll join us for another tour soon!
We all know Churchhill as a wartime hero, but to visit fav cigar, hat & shoemaker’s shops is to learn about his more private side & about a bit of London history too. Alex was excellent at drawing us into his daily life & habits, paralleled with the history of the neighborhood not to mention wartime London. Highly recommend this tour as an appetizer to the more serious War Rooms.
We really appreciate the recommendation and we’re glad you had a fabulous experience delving into Churchill’s life with Alex!
Our guide, Judd, was very knowledgeable and informative. We enjoyed our tour and would highly recommend it.
