Grape Train Escape de Verde Canyon Railroad es un evento nocturno que presenta degustaciones de vinos a bordo que muestran distintos viñedos de Arizona y más allá. Mientras estén a bordo del “Grape Train Escape”, a los pasajeros se les servirá una muestra de vinos selectos. Los invitados también disfrutarán de quesos especiales y entremeses elegidos para complementar los vinos destacados. Los viogniers de cada bodega estarán a bordo para discutir el terroir y las técnicas de elaboración del vino. Este evento es para pasajeros de 21 años en adelante. Se puede solicitar prueba de edad.

¿Qué podría ser mejor que saborear el vino mientras se sumerge en el paisaje del suroeste? Esta es una pareja relativamente nueva para el Valle Verde de Arizona, pero está ganando notoriedad rápidamente como una buena región para el cultivo de uvas. Disfrute de autos al aire libre donde el exuberante paisaje ribereño del verano, que incluye copas de álamos, tardes de monzón tempestuosas y profundos acantilados carmesí, complementa una gran copa de vino.

Our second time on the train, first time doing a wine tasting on it. The train ride itself is wonderful and while it was somewhat cloudy at night so we couldn’t see stars, just being in the open rail car at night was awesome! The wine tasting was a lot of fun. Our bartender and our outdoor speaker were both a lot of fun. It’s definitely worth the cost to do this rail adventure!

If you get motion sick, I would hesitate, we had a little bit of a hard time with that. Otherwise, everything was so amazing. We are glad we went. The view was easier to handle from outside and the interior was really cozy. Staff was very knowledgeable and shared a lot of fun information along the entire trip. We were able to also enjoy the starlight sky, which was amazing from the outside car.

That the wines were not good nor did they offer a variety that would appeal to a person that likes a sweeter wine.
