We stayed in Sharm El Sheikh and decided to dedicate a day to visiting Cairo. After exploring the fantastic Giza Pyramids complex in the morning, in the afternoon we moved on to the Egyptian Museum. It is a beautiful and immense structure, rich in extraordinary artifacts; the most spectacular section is undoubtedly the one dedicated to the treasure of Tutankhamun's tomb. The museum is absolutely worth a visit, but I highly recommend relying on an expert guide to appreciate it to the fullest. Another fundamental piece of advice concerns transportation: definitely opt for the flight from Sharm to Cairo. Facing 7 or 8 hours by bus each way would be unimaginably tiring. Overall it was a demanding day — we left the resort at 4 in the morning and returned at midnight — but, as they say in these cases, the Pyramids alone are worth the entire trip!
it a whole diffrent experience
The Grand Egyptian Museum is an architectural jewel and a pleasure for the senses. It exhibits an incredible variety of pieces of incalculable value, organized by sectors and chronology and presented in an exquisite way. One could stay in there for days. Must-visit.
We visited very interesting places, the explanation was clear and precise, our guide Karim was incredible, always kind, smiling and with a good sense of humor he brightened our trip, he also explained everything in detail and answered our questions, finally he gave us more time when we asked him, excellent service
Finally open. It is huge, modern, and is right in front of the Pyramids. From the windows you see Cheops while you look at the artifacts. Chilling. *Treasures of Tutankhamun* For the first time ALL together. Gold mask, thrones, chariots, jewelry. 5000 objects. The room is dark and you feel like you are in his tomb. The Statue of Ramses II It welcomes you at the entrance. 11 meters. It is the "welcome home". The Main staircase* 20 meters high with statues of pharaohs going up. It feels like walking through history. Holograms, screens, clear explanations. And then the mask of Tutankhamun...all solid gold...chills... Clean, air-conditioned, organized. Zero chaos. You can stay there for 4 hours and not even notice it. Booked with GetYourGuide, an Egyptologist all to ourselves for a 4-hour visit to this immense museum. We left enthusiastic with much more knowledge about this splendid civilization.
Great experience, the guide had knowledge the spot was incredible, I recommend it
If you’re thinking about booking this tour, don’t hesitate—just do it! This was hands down one of the best tours I’ve ever been on. My guide, Paula Samir, was absolutely amazing. From the moment we met, they made me feel comfortable, welcome, and completely at ease throughout the entire experience. Their knowledge of the Pyramids of Giza, Egyptian history, and the surrounding sites was incredible. Every stop came to life through fascinating stories and details that I never would have learned on my own. They were patient with every question, never rushed the tour, and made sure I had plenty of time to take in the views and capture great photos. What really set this tour apart was how genuine and passionate Paula was. You could tell they truly love sharing Egypt with visitors, and that enthusiasm made the experience unforgettable. I never felt like just another tourist—I felt like I was getting a personal tour from someone who genuinely cared about making my visit special. Visiting the Pyramids is already a bucket-list experience, but having PaulaSamir as my guide made it absolutely unreal. It exceeded every expectation I had and became one of the highlights of my travels. If you want an unforgettable, informative, and stress-free experience at the Pyramids of Giza, book this tour and ask for Paula Samir. You won’t regret it!
I was an English speaking guide, but I was able to enjoy it with peace of mind thanks to the very easy explanation. King Djoser's Pyramid, Refractive Pyramid, Red Pyramid, Meidum museum and breakfast included, for around 15,000 yen per person. The car was relatively clean, and it was a comfortable pick-up and drop-off with air conditioning outlets in the back seat. I booked through GetYourGuide and the pick-up location was an unsupported hotel, but when I asked for the reserved word, they picked me up. Additional fees were required, but we were able to be flexible enough to drop off at Han Hariri Market on the way home. You can contact us via WhatsApp and in English.
Excellent tour, our guide Sara was very kind.
Ahmed Salah was very knowledgeable and professional. The driver was prompt and everyone worked with us in terms of schedule. It was a very beautiful and comfortable excursion.
