This tour is great if you are just looking for great views of the Grand Canyon. The views are amazing. Pay special note to the fact that your drop off spot will not be where you got picked up. We got an Uber for $20.
Thank you for your feedback! We’re glad you enjoyed the amazing Grand Canyon views — and appreciate the helpful note about the drop‑off location.
Great trip to grand canyon np. Good tour guide, driver, and timely customer support. Pickup locations are convenient. Drop off locations are little far
Thank you for your great feedback! We’re glad you enjoyed the Grand Canyon tour and appreciated the guide, driver, and support team.
It was beautiful and breathtaking....one of the wonders of the world....walk with comfortable shoes and relaxed clothing as it was very hot with lots of areas to explore.
Thank you for sharing your experience! We’re so glad you found it beautiful and breathtaking — great tips for future visitors too.
I do not want to start my review with bad aspects of my experiences, so I share my good ones first: An easy way to see one part (don’t expect too much, since the Grand Canyon is very big!) of the Grand Canyon. You get picked up, with a nice bus that offers ac, a guide who talks about history and some facts about the tour. I felt very safe with our bus driver, Brandon, and I think Glen was a good tour guide. However, my experience wasn’t as great as I had hoped for. I booked the Grand Canyon tour with Gray Lines over GetyourGuide for one single reason: a trip to the Southrim that also includes a helicopter flight above it. So imagine how happy I was when I came across this offer. So on the day of the trip I already walked 25 min (it had 33 C at 4am) to get to my pick up location. We were supposed to get picked up at 4.35am and were not allowed to be late. 10 minutes after the supposed pick up time I decided to call the number the company provided (that you should call 10 min before pick up if you don’t see the bus), which nobody answered. At 5 the bus finally showed up (Traffic happens I know but not very likely at 4.30 in the night). When I finally got to hop on on our bus of the day I was informed I probably cannot make my helicopter ride. My face fell apart. According to my tour guide there had to be a minimum of participants. Which was never communicated with me, in any way. Neither through GetYourGuide nor through Gray Lines itself. Obviously me getting really upset and the only answer I get : I can try ask later. Well, as I cannot and won’t blame my fellow travelers, I was the only participant and therefore the flight got cancelled. After my guide telling me: Well that’s kind of your fault if you book not through us but through somebody else” , and absolutely not a glimpse of compassion of how my situation now is, he instantly offers: hey you can pay another 20 bucks for a tour with me!” After letting him know I needed a minute to collect myself, I was stuck on a bus in the middle of the desert. A tour I wouldn’t have booked in the first place if I had known of the restrictions. I know that it wasn’t Glens fault since he just happened to Be my guide at this day, but my experience of the Grand Canyon was shadowed by the very unhappy felling of mine. As I said, the time at the Canyon itself was good. Dropping off was another thing. I don’t know why the company is so bad at communicating, but I was supposed to be dropped of at the same spot I got picked up, which in my case was The Strat. Well, of course, I was told due to rules the driver can’t drive any longer and can drop us off at 2 places. I totally get it, what I do not understand is, that the tour is blocked for 15 hours, we are in hour 13.5 and I get dropped off at Treasure Island. I had to walk 3 km in 44C for over an hour or had to pay for a bus ticket. Unfortunately I cannot recommend the company. For 560 Dollars ( a heli flight that got cancelled due to the company’s incompetence to communicate), me paying for my own transportation to my original drop of location the company told us they would drop us off, plus 20 dollars for a tour I did not wanted in the first place, plus the tip (the guide multiple times told us it was appropriate and even as non US citizens a thing we should follow) which ended up being 20 bucks (even with zero satisfaction with the service itself, the bus driver did an amazing job!) I almost ended up paying 600 Dollars, for a tour I did not wanted to book. If I had known any of the restrictions, I’d have chosen a different tour. Very sad about the unique und unforgettable experience I was looking forward to. Now I still got to get an unforgettable day, one I could have avoided easily if the company would just communicate! So no, I cannot recommend the trip!
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We're pleased to hear that you enjoyed your time at the Grand Canyon and appreciated Brandon's safe driving and Glenn's commentary. That said, we're sorry to learn about the issues you experienced regarding the helicopter flight, communication, pickup delay, and drop-off arrangements. We completely understand how disappointing it must have been to book this tour specifically for the helicopter experience and then learn it was unavailable due to minimum passenger requirements that were not clearly communicated in advance. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention. We will be reaching out to our partners to review this matter and ensure that all terms, conditions, minimum participant requirements, and operational restrictions are clearly communicated across all booking channels to help prevent similar situations in the future. Thank you again for your honest feedback, and we apologize that your experience did not meet expectations.
Aloe was wonderful very knowledgeable. The trip was good, but due to the amount of travel time it’s only a short visit to the Grand Canyon.
We're glad you enjoyed your trip and found Aloe to be such a knowledgeable guide. Thank you for sharing your thoughts, and we hope to see you again on a future tour.
The communication from the operator was quick and precise. The pick up was right on time. The tour guide Mr. John was a very knowledgeable person. He spoke in detail about the history of every place we passed by on the way. He also made a detour to drive through Boulder City and that was an icing in the cake. His hospitality and kindness was commendable. I enjoyed the trip thoroughly. I highly recommend National Park Tours.
Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad the communication, punctual pickup, and Mr. John’s detailed knowledge and kindness made your trip so enjoyable. We appreciate your recommendation.
We really enjoyed the tour. It was well timing and we were able to see the grand canyon. The guide and driver were flawless. They were very knowledgeable and they took care of all passengers.
Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad the timing worked well and that your guide and driver made the experience smooth and enjoyable.
Brandon was our guide, and Paul was our driver. Both were fantastic! Brandon's love for the Canyon and the area was infectious! We learned a lot from him! He was very organized and kept everything running on schedule. I would highly recommend this tour . . . Thank you Brandon and Paul!
Thank you for your wonderful feedback. We’re so glad Brandon’s passion and organization, along with Paul’s safe and friendly driving, made your tour such a great experience.
Driver did great, guide was very nice and knowledgeable. Everything went smoothly from pickup to drop off.
Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad to hear everything went smoothly and that both our driver and guide made your experience enjoyable
National Park Express is the way to go when wanting to take a tour while on vacation. We did the Grand Canyon w/lunch excursion, and having Brandon as our tour guide while Paul driving us to and from, absolutely worth it. I strongly suggest using National Park Express via Trip Advisor as your to go. Brandon did an excellent job with all the historical knowledge every step of the way. Lunch provided - turkey sandwich, chips, fruit, dessert & water. We thoroughly enjoyed the trip - long but you don’t have to stress about driving, the bus is kept kool, and a few stops to stretch.
Thank you for the amazing feedback! It's great to hear that Brandon kept the tour engaging and informative while Paul ensured a smooth and comfortable ride. We appreciate your recommendation.
