My favorite experience in San Francisco! Definitely recommend the e-bike option. I haven’t ridden a bike in years and had never been on an e-bike - handled fine. DO IT!
We absolutely loved our e-bike tour of San Francisco with Blazing Saddles. I did the tour with my son, and it was truly one of the highlights of our trip. It was such a fun and memorable way to see the city and we couldn’t have done more on our own. It was definitely worth the money and I highly recommend Blazing Saddles.
Friendly staff Check in and check out super easy Guides Peter and Meara were excellent A great time and experience
A do not miss experience! Orly was an amazing guide .. super knowledgeable and did a wonderful job leading the group. The ride across the bridge is exhilarating!
Thanks for making us a "do not miss experience"!
Need to show up 30min to checkin, sign waiver, and the staff will fit the best fit bicycle or for us the EBike was very helpful for our youngster and his elderly grandparents going up steep climb. Our guide “Orla” was very welcoming and professional on our tour. She stopped at various scenic points while providing valuable insight and history. She kept a watchful eye on all her “chicks” as we navigated thru the San Francisco bridge and fog. Sadly our journey ended in Sausalito town with our fabulous guide Orla. It was helpful of Blazing Saddle to secure a ferry back with your bikes to the pier of Fisherman Wharf. The equipment provided was very reliable which made the journey quite a memorable experience for all.
Wow, sounds like Orla took great care of you! So glad the whole family had fun.
We had an awesome time and the experience was well worth the money. Our guide, Marcus, shared so much history along the ride and safety tips. He was also personable, patient - he offered to help with pictures and was overall fun!
Excellent guide. Bill was very knowledgeable and friendly. We saw lots of different areas of San Francisco before getting to the bridge. Highlight of our holiday.
Really enjoyed this e-bike tour around the iconic Golden Gate bridge area. We made plenty of stops for picture taking, a well-timed stop at a souvenir shop with snacks and refreshments and a restroom, and quite a few stops for stragglers from our group to catch up. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The ride across the bridge can be a little tricky, with pedestrians and other bicyclists going in both directions and not paying attention, and that makes enjoying the ride and scenery a bit difficult unless you're at a stop. I hadn't ridden an e-bike before but it didn't take long to get used to it and you always have the failsafe of pedaling over the modest inclines. Others may struggle with the e-bike if they aren't comfortable riding bikes in general. They can go pretty fast and be difficult to control is you're not careful. You end up in Sausalito at lunch time near a quaint small town with lots of great places to eat. You also get to keep the e-bike for 24 hours so you can ride further or go back across the bridge if you want.
The whole experience was terrific and Bill was an amazing tour guide- so personable and informative. I will definitely be recommending this tour!
My husband and I had so much fun riding from the pier, across the golden gate, into Sausalito and back! The bikes were in great condition, the staff at the Hyde Street store were very helpful and friendly, and the views were breathtaking! The highlight of our trip!
