Descripción
Únase a nosotros en un breve recorrido en grupo reducido a la famosa cascada de Goðafoss, uno de los destinos turísticos más populares del norte de Islandia. En el camino de regreso a Akureyri, conduciremos a lo largo de la costa de Eyjafjordur, uno de los fiordos más largos de Islandia, desde donde podrá ver Akureyri y tomar una gran foto. Desde allí, haremos una parada en Forest Lagoon, un complejo de spa geotermal ubicado frente a Akureyri. Incluye piscinas infinitas con bares en la piscina, una sauna y una bañera de agua fría y ofrece excelentes vistas del fiordo de Eyjafjordur.

La cascada de Goðafoss es una de las más hermosas de Islandia. Se la conoce como la Cascada de los Dioses debido a su historia. En el año 1000, Þorgeir Ljósvetningagoði declaró el cristianismo como religión oficial de Islandia y procedió a arrojar sus estatuas de dioses a la cascada. El agua cae desde una altura de 12 metros sobre un ancho de 30 metros.

Información de recogida! Si llega a Akureyri en crucero, asegúrese de habernos proporcionado el nombre de su embarcación, ya que hay múltiples puertos en Akureyri. Reynir was a great guide. He stopped off at the viewpoint on the fjord to enable us to snap some pictures and enroute to the Godafoss waterfall. Spent an hour taking in the watery sights and then to the Forest Lagoon for prepaid 2 hours of calm and relaxation. We learnt a lot Reynir thank you!

We had the most amazing time visiting the Godafoss waterfall and being able to experience the Forest Lagoon & Spa. We were blessed to have Reynir (tour guide) take us to and from both Godafoss and the Forest Lagoon as he was very informative, friendly and patient which we both appreciated. Prior to going, he made contact via email to keep us in the loop which was great and gave us plenty of time to explore whilst letting us know plenty of information about the history and geography of the area. Should we ever return, we’d very much use Star Travel for our excursions!

Incredible experience! We were the only people booked on, so it was like having a private tour! Our guide took us to all the best viewing spots for photos, gave us time to see things that we wanted to see and finishing the day in the Lagoon was perfect! Would recommend!

Our guide Krista was incredible! Smart, funny and informative. The waterfall was amazing and the forest lagoon was most relaxing. I would recommend the forest lagoon over the blue lagoon near Reykjavik for sure. Much less crowded much less expensive.

The experience was not as described. The waterfall allowed 40 minutes Vaolaheioi Utsynispallur did not happen… We were dropped at the forest lagoon (but not picked back up). The falls were beautiful, and the lagoon was great… tour was just not as described.
