We booked the Imagine Iceland tour from the Akureyri cruise port to Goðafoss Waterfall through Viator and had a great experience. The tour was well organized and right on time. Our driver, Graham, was friendly, knowledgeable, and shared interesting information along the way. Goðafoss was absolutely beautiful! Highly recommend Imagine Iceland for cruise passengers visiting Akureyri.
Tour guide Pauli was very informative and likable. Gave us good info about Iceland. Nice big bus was very comfortable.
Great bus ride to the waterfall. Guide gave good info on the way. Waterfall was beautiful. Lots of flies up there. There are two paths. The one was not crowded and flies minimum. The bus driver also drove through the town giving us info and allowed people to get off in various places before returning to port.
We saw so many things with so many stops! The Godafoss waterfall was beautiful but the lava formations, a cave, and the geothermal area were our favorites! So very cool to learn about Iceland in this way. Highly recommend!
It’s a can’t miss experience. The travel up there going through a tunnel. Excellent driver and guide very knowledgeable. Once you’re at the Falls, this scenery is awesome.
Trip was exactly as described. Although the weather was horrible our guide was awesome and gave us a great history of the waterfall and all the surrounding areas. He was very insightful and knowledgeable about the area. Even stopped at a few "picture" worthy stops!
The view really touched me a lot. . Much much touched me than I expected. The bus driver is so friendly. Organised so well.
Graham was a great tour guide. We enjoyed learning all about the area from him. The waterfall was amazing - despite the rain!
Be prepared for a beautiful view. Have rain gear and hiking shoes. Enjoyable trip without the Viking excursion expense.
Short and to the point. Coach bus to waterfall, stops in town at botanical gardens and downtown for shopping.
