It was such a wonderful experience driving through Switzerland’s beautiful countryside. Our bus driver doubled as our guide. The drive was a little nerve-wracking at times because we had to catch up to another bus, but we still had an amazing

All I can say is this excursion was one of the worst experiences I have ever had, which is sad because I have heard so many great things from this tour company. First, there was no tour guide on the bus, the driver, Aristotle informed us that they had none and that he would be conducting the tour, which should have been the first red flag. He also told us if we had any issue with the tour not to complain to him but to directly complain to the company. Next, the name of this tour is the panoramic bus tour. When we initially got on the bus it was a panoramic bus but the a/c was not working and right now in Switzerland it is very hot. Given that it was an enclosed bus it was hotter than the temperature outside. As a result the driver stopped at the bus station in Lusaunne where we had to wait for 30 mins without any access to the bathroom since it was only for persons who had a ticket for one of the local buses. The driver then announce he wanted coffee so we had to board the hot bus and drove for another 10 mins where he took us to a gas station to wait for another bus. The next bus only came after an hour and a half waiting at the gas station. When the new bus got there it was not a panoramic bus but we did not want to complain since the ac was working. He also didn’t announce that the new bus was here and he almost left people behind at that unplanned stop. When we finally arrived at Grindelwald it was lunch time so he told us that he would give us more time so that he could get lunch and that we should do the same. Me and one of my colleague that went on this tour did so but we didn’t know the bus was leaving until another passenger alerted us the bus was leaving beforehand. The other passenger alerted the bus driver that he was leaving us and one other passenger and that we were right behind them but he ignored her and just left us and the other person behind in Grindelwald. So we were stranded there and had to pay to take a train back to Geneva which was a 4 hr journey. Will be contacting the office for a refund because this was the worse tour experience I have had in my life. Never have I had an experience where the person doing the tour did not do a head count and actively left persons behind in another region of the country. Moral of the story do not book this tour. Will update on the response from the company.

We would like to clarify that we had to deal with an unexpected air conditioning issue with the original bus. Due to the high temperatures and the conditions inside the vehicle, changing the bus was absolutely necessary to ensure our passengers’ comfort and safety. This unfortunately caused a delay at the beginning of the tour. However, the excursion was completed in its entirety and the planned itinerary was carried out and extended. Regarding the situation in Grindelwald, we are sorry to hear that you were not on board for the departure. Please note that passengers are free to explore the stops independently during the free time provided, and many guests sometimes choose to stay longer without informing the guide. For this reason, we cannot systematically check each passenger’s presence at every stop. As the rest of the group was able to continue the tour, we can only assume that there may have been a misunderstanding regarding the departure time. We regret the inconvenience caused by this situation and appreciate your feedback. Kind regards

Guide was a time keeper ( important) more than a guide nice gentleman but needs to go with a real guide a few times so he learns his trade better Great guy need seasoning in guiding tours more information specially in tho sites restaurants things to do some little nuggets of discovery

Overpriced and Key Tours was difficult to deal with.

For example, a round-trip train ticket to Interlaken typically costs more than double the price of our excursion, while our tour includes comfortable transportation, organized logistics, and assistance throughout the day. That said, we understand that the value of an experience can be perceived differently depending on expectations. The company overcharged us and dropped us off at the airport instead of the bus station. We then had to pay for transportation back to our hotel. I asked the tour company for some type of reimbursement to get back to our hotel from the airport and they said no due to G7 Summit. We paid $379 for two people and they wouldn’t refund the cost of a train ride. I would not recommend Keytours. We have booked a lot of tours thru Viator and this was the worst and most expensive.

On the day of your tour, Geneva city centre was significantly impacted by exceptional security measures related to the G7 Summit. Large parts of the city, including access routes to the bus station, were closed by the authorities. As a result, it was not possible for our vehicles to reach the scheduled drop-off point safely or legally. In these circumstances, Geneva Airport was the closest and most appropriate alternative drop-off location available. As the guide advise, the public transport is only 6 minutes, one stop from the airport. To wait the bus brings you back would have been 7 hours! We regret that you feel dissatisfied, but the tour was operated as planned under the circumstances and all included services were delivered. For this reason, we are unable to offer reimbursement. What a beautiful way to visit the villages and to see all the wonderful landscapes of Switzerland. The bus was panoramic indeed, amazing views from all around and really comfortable seats. Very good tips and fun facts from knowledgeable tour guides. Just stick to their instructions and be on time or you will lose the bus😜

The panoramic photo description on the main page does not match the actual bus. This is misleading the customers. We were on a completely different bus which broke down and had to wait for another hour to be picked up. This was supposed to be a panoramic bus with 360 degrees views since we spent about three hours each way to get to the main attractions. The bus trip was not comfortable at all. It is worth visiting the locations included in the trips, amazing views, however they are misleading the customers by showing a panoramic bus. This is completely wrong.

Unfortunately, unexpected mechanical issues can occasionally occur despite our regular maintenance procedures, and on that day we arranged for another vehicle to continue the tour as quickly as possible.
