Nuestro popular tour de Gibraltar te permite ver Europa Point, conocido como las Columnas de Hércules. Visitará la Reserva Natural, que es el hogar del mono de Berbería. Uno de los aspectos más destacados de este recorrido es su visita a la cueva de San Miguel y la batería de la princesa Catalina antes de ver la Torre del Homenaje del Castillo Moro. Atravesaremos túneles con su guía local profesional de habla inglesa hasta Europa Point, este es el punto más al sur de Gibraltar, Territorio Británico que se une al continente español. Cerca del puerto de cruceros se encuentra el supremo Peñón de Gibraltar, una enorme piedra caliza medida a 1.398 pies sobre el nivel del mar. Las impresionantes vistas desde la cima son algo que perdurará en tu memoria (a través del Estrecho de Gibraltar) hacia el norte de África, donde se encuentra la formación rocosa Mons Abyla. Después de la roca nos dirigimos hacia Upper Rock y visitamos la popular Reserva Natural, aquí vive el famoso Macaco de Berbería. Aquí puedes disfrutar interactuando con los "Rock Apes".
Luego nos dirigimos a la cueva de San Miguel. Esta hermosa cueva de piedra caliza se encuentra a 980 pies sobre el nivel del mar. La acústica y la ambientación general de la cueva crean un escenario perfecto para eventos o conciertos. A continuación visitamos a la hija del rey Jorge II, la batería de la princesa Carolina. Este fue desarrollado en 1732. Solía ser un edificio militar y ayudó a consolidar el reclamo de Gran Bretaña sobre Gibraltar. Luego vemos una antigua Torre del Homenaje en el Castillo de los Moros para ver sus paredes marcadas por los cañones españoles durante los años de asedio. Para terminar el recorrido con estilo, nos dirigimos al centro para hacer algunas compras libres de impuestos. The tour was advertised as a two and a half hour event; however, it wasn't quite two hours. The tour seemed very rushed with the driver explaining the highlights of the area while negotiating the tough driving conditions which didn't allow time to ask questions. The tour did cover the spots that were advertised in the Viator information.
Was a great trip as driver got us close to the entrance and exit of st Michael’s cave We opted to be dropped off in the city and got clear instructions throughout

Our tour of the Rock of Gibraltar and St. Michael’s Cave was unforgettable. From the top of the Rock, you can see the meeting point of the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea, the coastline of Spain, and even Morocco across the water on a clear day it honestly feels like standing at the edge of two continents. Inside St. Michael’s Cave, the huge limestone formations and glowing chambers were absolutely breathtaking and unlike anything we’ve ever seen. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip! Just a word of caution - Walking inside the cave is dark in places and a little slippery
The tour company did not communicate basic information about the tour such as start time. I made numerous attempts to communicate with no response. The day of the tour the guide showed up late a travelers were left wondering if the tour they paid for was a scam. The tour guide was not prepared with a list of passengers. The rock of Gibraltar is worth experiencing but with another tour company. Having used Viator many times with positive experiences was surprised they would contract with such a bad tour company.
St. Michael's cave was incredibly beautiful, know that you will be walking around a damp, dark area but it was so worth if. Found some of the monkeys, listen to your guide they definitely know where to find them and the things you should do to stay safe. Our guide let us off at the old city so we could explore some and before walking back to the ship
The tour guide Peter was great, however the tour seemed quite rushed and was only about 1 1/2 hours as we left about 30 min late and got back at 2:25.
We had a fantastic guy that had a sense of humor, amazing driving skills, and his knowledge and history of the city was fabulous
The tour was longer than planned, but not in a bad way, as we got to see the tunnels in the rock of Gibraltar, which were not listed in the description. Good value for seeing the main features of the rock, though I would have liked to see more of the monkeys. Great value compared to an equivalent sure excursions.
