Great tour for a large family group! Monkeys, rock, cave! Port drop off!

Great for large families! Since the cable car was not working, and we all wanted to go on an excursion together, this was great for our family of 10 to all be in the same vehicle. The driver made extra effort to allow the kids to see the monkeys many times, and to interact with them. Also, they put all the people from the cruise ship in our van so that we could be dropped off at the port, which was so helpful to us. Highly recommend this tour. would have liked it to be a little bit longer, but it worked out great.

Rough start, but great tour in the end

Once this tour actually got underway, it was great! The sites were exactly as advertised, and our guide was excellent! The meeting/beginning of the tour was pure chaos. The tickets gave the address of where to meet the tour, but didn’t specify it was on the 2nd floor of a busy garage. A security guard helped us out. Once we got to the right spot, two of the vans appeared to be broken down, and the operators were frantic. Two large groups of people were waiting. Eventually more vans/drivers and even some taxis arrived, and everyone got on their respective tours about 15-20 minutes late. Once we were underway, our driver/guide was great and at the end he even drove us all back to the cruise port directly since we were running late.

Gibraltar rock tour

Disorganized at the start. People didn't know which bus. Started late. Very unfriendly staff. The tour was played thru the radio on the old bus, rather than have the staff member on board describing

Disappointing

Extremely bad experience, one very rude driver in particular, sorry i didnt get his name, he was yelling, screaming and threatening us the whole time, he said he didnt care about retaining business because there are plenty of gullable tourists around. No receipt or invoice at the end, totally undeclared payments. Really disappointing experience alltogether due to the human factor, beautiful nature.

Not worth it

Although we were taken around to various sites mentioned in this trip, it seemed very much like a whistle stop tour. 20 mins to visit St Michael's Cave was not enough time, as we were not able to wait to see the light show which was scheduled every 7 minutes or to explore the cave properly Also,we could only see a few monkeys in the lower level of Apes Den as we were given about 10mins max to look around before having to get back on the bus. There was not enough time to go up to the top level to see more monkeys or the beautifiul views of the sea

Respuesta del operador

Good afternoon, thank you for your feedback. The timings are specified on the tour descriptions. Re apes they are wild animals and it's not 100% guaranteed to see them by apes den however you do normally have them also hang around St Michales cave.

A good, compact tour of Gibraltar.

This tour was excellent. We saw most of the interesting places in Gibraltar from the lighthouse at Europa Point, the caves, the Barbary apes and the British military base. The guide was excellent and showed us the taming of the apes. The meeting point was the one issue. It was difficult to find.

An Afternoon on the Rock

Our Gibraltar tour was an absolute highlight of our trip! From start to finish, it was well organized, informative, and so much fun for our entire family. We explored all of Gibraltar’s iconic sights, including the Rock, the lighthouse, the famous Barbary apes, the spectacular St. Michael’s Cave, and the fascinating World War II tunnels. Every stop offered something unique, and the stunning views over the Mediterranean and the Atlantic made the day even more memorable. We had an unexpected delay getting through customs and border control because of heavy traffic, and we were so grateful that the tour company kindly held the bus for us. That small gesture made a stressful situation disappear and showed how much they care about their guests. Our guide, Peter, was outstanding. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and had a great sense of humor that kept everyone engaged throughout the day. He shared Gibraltar’s history in a way that was both interesting and entertaining, and he made sure everyone felt welcome and included.
