En nuestra primera parada, la Reserva Galápagos frontier, donde podrá maravillarse con las majestuosas tortugas gigantes, explorar fascinantes túneles de lava y admirar las diversas especies de aves y el bosque endémico en la zona de transición . También podrás caminar por senderos rodeados de más de 20 especies diferentes de árboles frutales . Un guía experto estará a su lado para brindarle información detallada sobre la ecología única de Galápagos. A continuación, El Taxi los llevara a los (Gemelos )que son impresionantes cráteres volcánicos que se formaron debido a la actividad volcánica pasada. La vista desde este punto es impresionante, donde se puede admirar la gran dimensión de estos cráteres y además observar aves endémicas volando libremente y la vegetación del bosque y pueden realizar fotos . La visita a los cráteres no incluye guia solo servicio de taxi.

Reserva de Tortugas Gigantes: Comenzaremos nuestro tour visitando la reserva de tortugas gigantes, donde tendrás la oportunidad de observar de cerca a estas majestuosas criaturas. Aprenderás sobre su historia, su importancia para el ecosistema de las Galápagos y cómo se lleva a cabo su conservación. Podrás caminar entre ellas y maravillarte con su tamaño y longevidad. Explorar los senderos que te llevarán a través del bosque endémico, donde podrás observar una gran variedad de aves autóctonas. Además, podrás recorrer senderos que te llevarán a través de exuberantes árboles frutales" Túneles de Lava: Después de visitar la reserva, nos adentraremos en los fascinantes túneles de lava. Estos túneles son formaciones geológicas únicas que se crearon hace millones de años durante erupciones volcánicas. Caminarás por pasadizos subterráneos y podrás apreciar la belleza y la historia que encierran estas formaciones volcánicas. ¡No olvides tu linterna para explorar los rincones más oscuros!
Los Gemelos en Santa Cruz son impresionantes cráteres volcánicos que se formaron debido a la actividad volcánica pasada. Son dos grandes dolinas con zonas repletas de vegetación, por lo que no está permitido comer en la zona ni acercarse a los bordes del cráter. La vista desde este punto es impresionante, donde se puede admirar la gran dimensión de estos cráteres y además observar aves endémicas volando libremente y la vegetación del bosque. ¡No te pierdas este increíble paisaje natural! Después de este recorrido te llevaremos de regreso a tu hotel en Puerto Ayora para que puedas seguir disfrutando de la Isla Santa Cruz.

Lugares y horarios de recogida
El taxi pasará a recoger a los pasajeros en el punto de encuentro previamente acordado, 15 minutos antes del horario confirmado del tour. El conductor los trasladará directamente hasta el rancho privado de tortugas gigantes y túneles de lava, donde el guía estará esperando para iniciar el recorrido. Una vez finalizado el tour de tortugas y túneles de lava, el mismo taxi los llevará hacia la zona de Los Gemelos (cráteres) para realizar una caminata corta y tomar fotografías. Después de la visita a los cráteres, el transporte los llevará de regreso al hotel o punto acordado.

Fabulous experience. The guide Cesar was very knowledgeable and gave us an amazing tour of the tortoise habitat and lava tunnels. Highly recommended if you’re visiting Santa Cruz in the Galápagos Islands.
Had a wonderful experience on this tour. Gorgeous location great tour mates. Only hangup was how quickly the tour guide was walking in the mud. We struggled to hear some of his explanations but a new friend was able to pass the info along.
Fantastic day! The lava tunnels were awesome and we saw lots of very large tortoises in their natural environment. Both guides were extremely knowledgeable and fun! Highly recommend!
We had a wonderful experience with Galapagos Frontier. The tour to see the giant tortoises and explore the lava tunnel was excellent from start to finish. Cesar and Sebastian were fantastic guides. Throughout the walk, they shared interesting information about the Galápagos Islands, including the local plants, trees, wildlife, and unique landscapes. Their knowledge made the tour both educational and enjoyable. It was incredible to see the giant tortoises in their natural habitat and to walk through the lava tunnel while learning about the geological history of the islands. We appreciated how much time the guides took to answer questions and explain the surrounding nature. Thank you to Cesar and Sebastian for a memorable experience. We would definitely recommend Galapagos Frontier to anyone visiting the Galápagos who wants to learn more about the islands and their remarkable environment.
We did book this last minute and we were told the guide out had minimal English. The lava tunnels and tortoise section was pretty cool and we did see tortoise in the wild in the drive up. Tip, wear log pants and put on bug spray. Also a head torch is handy for the lava tunnels as the guide did not have enough for each person. The crater section was very rushed and we would have liked to have had a bit more time to spot wildlife and birds.
Had a great time. Julio messaged me the day before and recommended an earlier time for our tour which worked out better for us. He coordinated transport and an English-speaking guide last minute. The tour was exactly as described. Highly recommend.

Our guide was very nice and knowledgeable. Was able to share some very interesting facts. Also pace of the tour was just right, not too fast or too slow.
Cesar was a wonderful, passionate guide who was such an interesting person and clearly loved what he does! We had a great time seeing so many giant tortoises and exploring the inside of the lava tunnel!
Getting into the tour I was not very certain but was very pleasantly surprised by the experience. The tour and our guide provided an intimate experience with the flora and fauna of the Santa Cruz Island. The lava tunnel experience was fascinating and we got to get up close with the turtles as they roamed around in the reserve. The quick visit to the sink holes on the way back was also quite interesting. Overall great tour and highly recommended.
