Itinerario
Primero, visitamos el Centro Cultural y del Patrimonio en Derynia para ver un cortometraje que exhibe Famagusta antes de la invasión. Luego nos subimos al techo del centro para observar más de cerca a Famagusta sobre el borde (se proveen binoculares). Usted puede tomar un café o comprar refrescos en el centro.
Comenzamos viendo a Famagusta como lo vemos hoy; Un pueblo fantasma abandonado. Después de cruzar la frontera, conduciremos por la cerca que rodea esta ciudad que alguna vez fue glamorosa, antes de llegar a su famosa playa de arena donde veremos los hoteles desiertos cerca de la costa. Luego continuamos dando vueltas por el foso de la ciudad gótica donde los muros del castillo se elevan sobre nosotros y finalmente entramos y recorremos la ciudad dentro de los muros donde se encuentran 365 iglesias y catedrales que una vez fueron testigos de siglos de historia. Pick up was on time and everything was a described. The whole occupation has a lot of parts and details and it might have been helpful with a written time line about what happened when. I had so many questions. George could have had a clearer narrative about what happened when and why. All his jokes was kind of confusing-it is sufficient to just be nice and competent.

Absolutely worth the money to hire the buggy with driver. Takes you around and explains everything from 1974. Whether you live here or holiday, you have to do this tour. It is eye-opening. It is like a massive filmset.
