El puerto de Georgetown se remonta a siglos y hoy es conocido por sus calles adoquinadas, casas históricas y jardines, y es visto como un distrito de compras y restaurantes. Explorar el área a pie es la mejor manera de retroceder en el tiempo y disfrutar del ambiente de un parque con todos sus ladrillos viejos y vegetación.
El canal histórico a través de la sección industrial de Georgetown, los huéspedes aprenderán sobre los barcos del canal y verán una "cerradura" (puerta) en funcionamiento que ayudó a los barcos a viajar hacia y desde el canal.

Fun glimpse into historic Georgetown, Vicky is great, funny and communicative
Though the weather was very hot and humid, our guide tried her best to keep us in the shade as much as possible. She was both entertaining and knowledgeable. We learned many things we had not heard before, some of them very salty. lol I would highly recommend this tour to others.

Interesting storytelling about past and current inhabitants of the area. Billed as a tour that included information on architecture of which there was none.

One thing that's true of Georgetown (and honestly most of our tours) is that a full deep-dive into every layer including history, architecture, social history, current events would run well over the two hours most guests want to spend on their feet. This tour was absolutely amazing and very well organized. Our guide, Georgia, was highly informative and shared a lot of interesting tidbits that you wouldn't find in a regular guidebook. Wayne did a wonderful job explaining the history of the Georgetown area with amusing anecdotal stories. We especially appreciated the story about stubby the dog. Wayne is very knowledgeable as well as being an entertaining guide. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting the DC area.
