Su conductor lo recogerá en su hotel respectivo para continuar con el city Tour. En primer lugar visitarás el Templo Wat Chayamangkalaram, donde se encuentra la 4a estatua de Buda Reclinada más larga.
Justo al otro lado de la carretera también puede visitar el templo birmano Dhammikarama, que alberga una estatua de Buda de 8,2 metros, lo que lo convierte en el más alto de Malasia. La existencia de estos dos templos se debe al asentamiento temprano de la comunidad tailandesa y birmana a principios de 1800.
Después de eso, dé un paseo panorámico por las calles de George Town, Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO, y sea testigo de la rampa dejada por los habitantes británicos y locales del pasado. Lugares y horarios de recogida
El hotel ofrece servicio gratuito de recogida y entrega en un radio de 4 km del centro de George Town. Se aplica un recargo adicional para las recogidas fuera del radio de 1 km y se paga el día de la actividad. También ofrecemos recogida en la terminal de cruceros (muelle). Por favor, facilítenos la información de su muelle y la hora de salida antes del tour, para que podamos organizar su recogida en consecuencia.

I was so surprised when I meet my driver and found out that I was the only passenger. My travel companion had a severe headache and she unfortunately did not attend. it was an amazing trip, with so many Temples and areas to visit. I unfortunately had to cut the trip short, and I hated to leave as it was such a great friendly trip.

Pre-booked this private excursion rather than using expensive cruise lines offering. Received clear/concise joining details from Ronnie who was to be our driver/guide for the half day tour. We had visited Georgetown before, but several years ago, and there has been quite a lot of development since our previous visits. Our first stop was at Padang Esplanade, then onto the Temple of the Goddess of Mercy. Ronnie recommended that we visit the Georgetown Mansion, which we duly did. The English speaking guide there was very good, informative & quite a character. This was followed by a visit to Wat Chayamangkalaram Thai Buddist temple, which houses one of the world's longest reclining Buddha statues at 33 metres & literally across the road to take in a Burmese Temple. Or trip concluded with a quick revisit to the E & O Hotel before being dropped off back at the (very) nearby Cruise Terminal. Can thoroughly recommend this excursion, Ronnie was a very knowledgeable & personable driver/guide, so it's a 5 star rating!

A drive around highlights. Driver was lovely but basi Engkish, csr could have done with a clean too. Everything walkable from the cruise ship top and quicker than drivong

Sally took us to the 2 famous temples , Thailand & Burma, which were amazing to see, along with sites and shopping areas. Went to the Jetty area and toured how families live in this village, We passed on the hawker center- should not have done that- but we stopped at a local restaurant on the way back to the port to enjoy the quaintness and drinks. Would recommend taking this tour if you want a private excursion to see the temples .
Dear travelers, Sally took us on a wonderful half-day tour of Georgetown and Penang City. She guided us to two of the most famous temples, Thailand and Burma, which were truly amazing to see. We also explored local sites, shopping areas, and the Jetty, where we got a glimpse of village life and how families live there. While we skipped the hawker center, we stopped at a charming local restaurant on the way back to the port to enjoy the atmosphere and drinks. The guy was really great. He provided the best information about the whole of Penang city. We had tons of information about the city's history. We went through Chew Jetty and multiple places inside Georgetown. He gave us a better explanation of how things went by etc. etc. so yeah we liked it pretty much. Thank you.
