Great experience with plenty of dolphins and a knowledgeable tour guide with a great since of humor.
Everything was perfect from the start.. the captain, Trent, made the trip fun and enjoyable. He had a cute and fun playlist, knew where to find the dolphins and gave us a great view of Battleship Texas. He made my son’s dream come true!! Let him drive the boat!! Thank you for that!!
Sad to say that this experience was simply not worth the money. If you are hoping to get a historic tour of Galveston…be prepared for one historical fact. Then you are guided to see dolphins…which to sum it up; consists of the guide driving in a tight circle to “create waves” so we can hopefully see the top fins’ of a few dolphins. Then you head back and tour is over.
The guide was great. I was happy to see the dolphins, which seemed the focus of the trip, because of the children, but expected more historical information per the description. The guide was wonderful to answer my historical questions at the end.
Was a great experience. Captain was very knowledgeable about he surrounding are and dolphins!
Everything was great and I highly recommend
We saw a few dolphins, about the same as we see when we travel on the ferry, the captain gave us a lot of information about galveston and dolphins that most people dont know which is nice.
Excellent tour. Captain also served as tour guide and gave several relevant facts about the area. He made an extra cruise by the Battleship Texas and by the mysterious "Face on the Wall" which appears on Ewing Hall at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB). Dolphins were numerous and he spent time maneuvering the boat so all could see. We didn’t feel rushed even though he began boarding the next tour right after we left the boat. We highly recommend.
We had a great tour! It was a beautiful day and the dolphins were very active! Our driver was amazing and lots of fun!--he even included my adult Down syndrome daughter in the children who got to "drive" the boat. We both give this experience a 10!
Enjoyed the trip in the bay along with all the history. Boat Captain was Great! Wish we could of got closer to the ship wreck but we did see several dolphins and babies! Granddaughter loved " driving" the boat! ;)
