Excursión de un día completo a la ciudad azul de Chefchaouen desde Rabat

Our driver Iiyas was a great driver. A must when driving on Morocco. We learned so much about the country and its people. I highly recommend you have Iiyas drive you with a tour in Morocco.

Ilyas is an excellent ambassador for the country of Morocco. He’s very knowledgeable of both historical and current events and how those have shaped this beautiful country. He’s a very kind and generous man, accommodating, timely and flexible in the plans for the day. We enjoyed the Blue City, with Ilyas helping to arrange a tour guide through the city. Definitely a 5+ star experience.

This was a fantastic way to see the Blue City Chefchaouen while staying in Rabat, mostly because we had such a great guide, Ilyas. He made us comfortable from the first moments and gave us great commentary during the drive. He is very warm and engaging, and we learned so much along the way that we would not have known about Morocco. Like many others, we were part of a larger group touring the rest of the country, but this was perfect way to add the Blue City. He encouraged us to leave early, and this was such great advice because we beat the crowds and the heat!

From our driver Medhi to our guide Mohammed (who we booked separately thru the tour operator for $30) it was an amazing day. We traveled four hours in Medhi’s four wheel drive vehicle from Rabat to the “Blue City” of Chefchauouene. Medhi was a fantastic driver who got us to & from Chefchauouene safely along some windy country roads. He answered any questions we had and even stopped along they way so we could get photos of the storks. We enjoyed our private tour thru the Old City Medina by our Mohammed. He was very knowledgable since he was a lifelong resident and we throughly enjoyed the experience.

Chefchaouen is a unique place with it’s blue buildings and alleyways. It is worth the 4 hours drive from Rabat. It lived up to expectations. Llyas was an excellent driver.

The whole experience was wonderful. Our drive from Casablanca occurred during a rainstorm but our driver Ilyas did a perfect job in delivering us from Casablanca to Chefchouen and back to Rabat safely. He was a very pleasant traveling companion and his English was great. Our provided guide in Chefchaouen, Baba, was also excellent and proudly showed us his beautiful city. Ilyas and Baba combined to make a very enjoyable first day in Morocco. We would be happy travel with them again.

Great tour from Rabat…long day but well worth it! Ilyas provided commentary as we traveled to the Blue City even stopping at a wonderful olive and argan oil shop. I highly recommend this tour.

My friend and I had an excellent day trip to Chefchaouen, known in English as the Blue City. Our driver Jalal was perfect, flexible and always on time, with a comfortable and clean van. Bilal, the tour guide in Chefchaouen took us on a walking tour around the city, with no pressure to buy anything and providing tidbits of important information along the way. Ilyas, the tour organizer communicated clearly and in a timely manner, which is critical when you are traveling in a foreign country. I highly recommend them for this and other activities in Rabat.
