Descubra las tiendas y cafés locales, la plaza principal conocida como Plaza Uta el-Hammam, el museo kasbah que data de principios del siglo XVIII, la Gran Mezquita y quizás el río Ras Elma que atraviesa la ciudad vieja. It was a very good trip and the service was very good. And I recommend this for anyone.and the driver was funny and welcome
Pro's: - The city is really cool especially in comparison to how overwhelming Fez can be. I'm glad we got to see it. It didn't blow my socks off or anything, it almost felt like the hype and instagram posts online outweighed the reality, but even so, I'd recommend you make the trip if you have some extra time, want to experience a slower paced version of Morocco, and want a few solid pictures. Cons: - I wish we would have stayed the night rather than just four hours. The eight hours of driving wasn't worth the short amount of time we had to explore. A night would have been perfect to experience the relaxing and beautiful city. - Our driver didn't speak English despite the advertising saying he did. - No AC. This confused me because we did this tour in November where it was fairly cold out but somehow it got so hot in the van on the way home that the windows fogged up. Some of the passengers asked for AC but it never got turned on. Even a cracked window would have done the job but we were all sweating by the time we got home. - Poor communication. They dropped us off in Chefchaouen and told us to meet them back at the same spot at 4:00pm. A lot of people forgot exactly where they dropped us off which caused some stress to find the location again. This is technically our fault because we could easily drop a pin in our phones but enough people had the same issue where I felt like some further communication between the tour guides and everyone else would have been appreciated. Final Thoughts: 1. Doing the day trip is better than nothing but if you can spend the night then I think you'll be glad you did. 2. If you are going to do the day trip then I'd recommend you do so with a different tour group because our experience would have been better if some of the problems we experienced hadn't occurred.
Bad. Opted for English guide, no one spoke English. The guide cost extra and he didn’t speak English. We also only had 3 hours not 4
It’s a long day of travel but very much worth it. The only thing I would say is that there’s not quite enough time when you’re there. The guide goes quite quick and not everyone has the time to take the photos they want. You have free time after but it can difficult to find your way back to where you want to go. Guide, driver and coordinator all very professional and prompt on time.
Small group of 17 people, the driver was excellent and the minibus comfortable for the 4 hours of driving. The stops on the road are well chosen. Chefchaouen is really a very pretty village, I recommend.
Very good driver and very beautiful city but the car was terrible, the lights didn't work and the engine failed a lot, it was difficult to start and we had to stop many times. More than 4 hours on the road to spend 4 hours in the city and then 5 and a half hours to return.
It gets you to Chouen and back. But they stop 3 times both ways to try get you to buy things, and so what should be about a 3.5-4hr drive is 5hr each way. You only get 3.5hr in the Blue City itself, with no recommendations of where to go, what to see, or where to eat. Not bad in that it accomplishes what it set out to do, but I wouldn't call this a tour. It's a ticket for a ride. That's all.
Our driver Younnes drove us to Chefchauen and ensured everyone was comfortable, happy and entertained. He provided with information on-route and made the journey fun. While the journey to Chefchauen from Fes is relatively long i.e. 4 hours, we stopped a couple of times for views and to stretch our legs. Thanks to Younnes who made sure we had a good trip.
It was a smooth and safe journey from Fes to Chefchaouen. Our journey took slightly over 4 hours. However, our driver kept us entertained and informed along the route. In addition to making a couple of stops to ensure we could stretch our legs. Chefchaouen was in itself a beautiful city with homes purposefully painted in blue. Gorgeous setting, good weather and plenty of time to explore.
The driver was punctual and showed up on time. There was really no guide and the driver could barely speak English. We were offered water bottles in the car. We didn't stop at any tourist trap places pr restaurant. We were free to choose the place to eat. Chefchaouen was an awesome place. It was a great trip overall.
