El área escénica de los campos en terrazas de Longji tiene una superficie de 70,1 kilómetros cuadrados. Siendo parte de él, Ping'an Zhuang Terraced Fields Spot está ubicado en Ping'an Village. Hay 190 familias con una población de más de 700 personas. Todos los residentes pertenecen a la minoría Zhuang, con el mismo apellido de Liao. La altitud aquí es de 380 metros a 880 metros sobre el nivel del mar. Aquí hay dos puntos de vista: "Nueve dragones y cinco tigres", lo que significa que las nueve montañas de tendencia similar a un dragón se extendían desde la cima hasta el río Jinjiang (el río dorado), saboreando el agua agradable. Por el contrario, las cinco laderas de las colinas parecen cinco tigres, en cuclillas allí como guardianes de la tierra. It was expected that the journey would be long, but the stay was then too short and only two closely spaced lookouts were hiked.

The full day tour to the Longji rice terraces had been very nice. The scenery is really impressive. Not many Chinese tourists have been there in November either, which also made the tour enjoyable. Can highly recommend the tour. Everything worked out well and we also watched a sunset in the evening.

This was a wonderful tour that I did one-on-one with my guide, Daniel. He took his time to explain the history of the rice terraces, discuss the history of tea in the region while allowing us time to actually sip the tea with a local, and when we had some extra time, he took me to explore other parts of the area, including a Yao village and the hair museum. I really learned so much from him, and would gladly do a tour with him again.
