Descripción
Sumérgete en la pintoresca medina de la ciudad azul (Chefchaouen). Disfrutaremos paseando por sus sinuosas calles flanqueadas por bonitas casas azules. Disfrutaremos de la distintiva arquitectura árabe-andaluza, calles estrechas, maravillosas fuentes y tomarás las mejores fotografías de Marruecos. Después, almuerce por su cuenta. Por la tarde, tomará un descanso del calor de la ciudad y escapará a los exuberantes paisajes naturales de Marruecos, disfrutando de un chapuzón en las famosas cascadas de Akchour. Una vez que estemos caminando por el río Kelaa, habrá un oasis de cascada asombroso e impresionante de agua verde aguamarina y turquesa esperando al final de la caminata. Las imágenes no le hacen justicia. Después de un par de horas disfrutando de la zona, nuestro conductor nos estará esperando para llevarnos de regreso a Tánger. Llegaremos de regreso a la ciudad después de un inolvidable día de aventura.

Al llegar a la ciudad, sumérgete en la medina de Chefchaouen, uno de los centros históricos más pintorescos de Marruecos. Acompañado por un guía local multilingüe, disfrutará paseando por sus sinuosas calles flanqueadas por hermosas casas azules. También visitarás sus zocos.
Pequeño y tranquilo, el cementerio de Chefchaouen señala los restos de una cultura que alguna vez fue vibrante. Los visitantes pueden notar que muchas de las tumbas tienen inscripciones escritas en árabe.

Construida en el siglo XV, la Gran Mezquita de Chefchaouen fue construida por orden de Moulay Mohamed Ben Ali Ben Rachid, el hijo del fundador de la ciudad. Cuenta con un minarete octogonal, que es algo inusual en comparación con los muchos minaretes cuadrados que generalmente se elevan sobre la miríada de mezquitas de la nación. La forma fue influenciada por los estilos andaluces, traídos al país por los musulmanes de España. Construido de piedra, los tonos de marrón y beige se yuxtaponen contra los edificios azules y blancos cercanos. Admirar la mezquita es una de las mejores cosas que hacer en la ciudad.

Talassemtane forma parte de la Reserva de la Biosfera Transcontinental del Mediterráneo. Es un territorio muy original caracterizado por una biodiversidad y unos paisajes únicos. Esta zona conserva los únicos abetos marroquíes, que son el corazón de Talassemtane y las zonas con mayor nivel de protección de todo el parque. En el parque se han registrado más de 1.380 especies de plantas, de las cuales 47 son endémicas de Marruecos.

This tour is not what the pictures and descriptions say. Once we met our guide at Akchour we were told the waterfall that we wanted to see was dry and that there were virtually no monkeys at this time of year. Our tour guide was flat out rude and walked far ahead of us on his phone the whole time. A direct quote from our tour guide “I am not here for a chat, you paid for a tour not a chat.” My daughter fell in the rocks and cut her hand badly. When I asked for a band aid for her he told me couldn’t find one. He never looked for one, was just in his phone and then said no. I would absolutely bot do this tour again with this tour group. It was so bad that for the second part of the tour in Chefchaouen we told the guide that we were all set and didn’t want a tour. My family and I were not going to be lead around with someone at top speed who wasn’t going to talk to us and that clearly didn’t like us. His disdain for us was real. He wrecked one of the four days that we had in Morocco. The best part of our day and the best part of our tour was the driver. He was incredibly nice and respectful of us. He made our day. The tour guide told us not to talk to the driver and that he had no power. I am still shaking my head over this tour and day. Additionally we were told by all tour guides in Morocco including the owner of our Riad that the tour was over priced by almost $150 US dollars. Last but not least, when we told the tour guide that we would not continue with him in Chefchaouen he directly said “I don’t care, you are not my first English tour and you will not be my last.” I would really think about that comment before booking this tour. I will never book with this group again.

Lastly, on the topic of pricing, we always aim to provide fair and transparent rates for private, full-day experiences that include long-distance transfers, fuel, coordination, and staffing.
Mourad was an awesome guide. We enjoyed the walk around the Medina and we had a great time on the hike.
Mohammad was really friendly and excellent photographer who took fantastic photos of our trip. He spoke fluent English and helped us have a great time. The length of the trip could have been slightly shorter or better utilised especially at Akchour to have the maximum experience in the trip.
