Amazing trip! Took us to so many beautiful beaches and places. Only thing that could be improved was the buffet lunch. Was luke warm and was eh.
I would give 0 if that would be possible. The boat was really crowded and they were trying to fit over 40 persons in the boat where normally could fit 20-25 persons. It’s super uncomfortable and do not expect any comfort on this tour. Tour guide was providing the only information when we will depart from visited areas. Nothin else. Snorkeling and bathing was painful since it was no shower for the whole day. Absolutely terrible tour…
The trip was very good, no complaints.Being a large person the staff helped me on and off the boat which I found good and kind.
We did this tour while staying on Koh Lanta in February. It was easy to book online, and I received an email immediately with confirmation and pick up time from our resort for the next morning. They picked us up with others from other resorts and got us to the right boat while others were dropped elsewhere. We did the speed boat tour out to Koh Phi Phi and Maya Bay. We had thought about skipping this tour and the bay due to the mass amounts of tourists funneling in and out, but I’m really glad we didn’t. It is truly a gorgeous beach and bay. It is 1000% worth seeing. The tour includes lunch, but it did not include the extra fee to the national park, so be prepared to pay that in cash. They provided water and snorkeling equipment on the boat as part of the tour. My favorite part was Maya Bay and then snorkeling at bamboo island at the end of the day. It was some of the best snorkeling I’ve ever experienced (and better than my dives at Koh Haa that week where visibility and currents were awful). Saw tons of clown fish, parrot fish, an eel, puffer fish, and a banded sea snake swam right under me!! Amazing! It felt like we spent just the right amount of time most places, however, I would’ve loved to spend more time at bamboo Island at the end. The staff were wonderful—helpful and friendly and let us explore on our own. Definitely recommend this tour from Koh Lanta!
Which was all wrong: - Maya bay and Pilieh lagoon are beautiful but overflowing with tourists - Viking cave was neither visited nor shown - Phi Phi Don was overcrowded and it was way too hot for a shopping tour, so you have to do something like that in he early or in the evening - Shark Point was not visited, so no snorkeling there - Bamboo Island has exactly 2 beaches and far too many tourists. Which was good: - delicious food on a small secluded beach - free drinks, snorkeling equipment - Snorkeling on Bamboo Island was very nice. Have been able to discover some puffer fish and ale. Unfortunately, an extinct reef. - Phi Phi Don is good for buying souvenirs and postcards Conclusion: For people who want to take beautiful pictures and see all the islands, the tour is very suitable. However, not for people who want to be away from tourism. This was our second tour we had booked on Koh Lanta. The first time, we were very happy with the organization, not this time. Unfortunately, some places were simply not visited.
This tour was easy to book online and they sent an email confirmation fairly quickly. They were a little late picking us up but I had an email from the office letting us know so that was fine. We were transported to the harbour in a small vehicle with 6 people total so not at all crowded. There was about 25 people on the speedboat and so it didn't feel too crowded at any point. The staff were very friendly and helpful and explained where we were going and what to do and the timings etc clearly at each stage. The first stop Maya bay was simply stunning and I'm glad we started there as when we were leaving you could really see it starting to get crowded. Bamboo island was also amazing, so beautiful, it would have been nice to have a little longer on there. There were two snorkelling stops which were great, for the 2nd one if it wasn't what you wanted to do then you had the option of staying on phi don island and being picked up later. The lunch was a buffet at a restaurant and that was surprisingly well organized, we had a time slot and table reservation for the tour group and there was perhaps one or two other tours but it didn't feel too busy. Surprisingly the food was really tasty and you could have as much of it as you wanted. Overall a fantastic day Only thing they could be clearer about at the time of booking is how much you actually need on the day for the national park entry which is 400 baht each
Dear Lee Lee Thank you for the good review and encourge me to continue my work, I promise that i will find good trip for every customer who trusts me.
