La recogida de los pasajeros se realiza en el Puerto de A Coruña. La hora de salida de la actividad es aproximada; El inicio del recorrido depende de la hora de llegada del barco al puerto. Por este motivo, el día anterior os escribiremos para concertar la hora de recogida por parte del guía.

Llegada a la ciudad de Santiago de Compostela y visita guiada a pie con guía oficial por los lugares más destacados de la ciudad. Posteriormente los clientes tendrán tiempo libre para disfrutar de la ciudad. El tiempo libre dependerá de la hora de salida del barco.

Maria, our tour guide, was knowledgeable , funny and kept us in line. We had 2 hr of wandering around the city then a wonderful tour of the museum and then the cathedral. This was a bucket list item for me and she met all of my expectations.
Modern transport air conditioning. Good communication on timing and pick ups. Excellent knowledgeable guide with good English. Picked up and dropped off from ship inside the port terminal.
An excellent experience from start to finish. Carolina was so knowledgable about so many different things - Galician food, music, culture, A Coruna, Santiago de Compostela, the list goes on - and she made the journey as interesting as the places and all with added good humour. Most importantly we felt very secure that we would return to the ship in good time, something that really matters when you are booking independently. A first class experience.
Wonderful day spent in Santiago. The star of the show was the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela. Our guide for the day, Carolina, was outstanding. Full of humor and anectodes while sharing the history of her country and this glorious cathedral. We had more than enough time on our own to explore and have lunch. Getting back to the cruise port was never a concern as Carolina had everything timed perfectly.
Trip was very good. We got to see the cathedral and had time to explore on our own. Some time could have been saved if listening devices were handed out on the bus as we drove to location.
The organisation and communication regarding this tour by Optimus meant it was a very enjoyable tour and we were assured we would return to the ship in plenty of time for our 5pm departure. Carolina was an excellent guide, and we thoroughly enjoyed her sharing her local knowledge and wit with us. The visit to the cathedral museum meant we had a seemless and quick entry to the cathedral avoiding all queues. This is one of the best tours I’ve done and is excellent value for money, far less than the cruise operator’s own shore excursion.

This was such an easy and well organized way to see the famed cathedral, which is the end of the pilgrimage walk to view the final resting place of the body of St. James. Our guide, Jorge, was so well informed and gave us such great information. Because of limited time getting off and then back on the ship, we were a little concerned, but they had everything managed perfectly. Would highly recommend.
Jorge was great. He provided a lot of local knowledge, as he lives in Santiago de Campostela. The tour provided an insight into the history of the city and the cathedral and some of the relics in the museum, plus enough on our own time to get some lunch and shopping before heading back to the ship with an hour before all aboard.
Great tour. Tour guide Mira (sp?) was excellent, easy to understand and helpful, plus she had a lot of interesting information to share. AND they got us back to our cruise ship on time!
