Descripción
Un tour increíble que comienza en un pueblo medieval poco conocido lleno de historia, Napoleón y encanto. Seguimos un camino antiguo a través de las poderosas gargantas de Olllioules hasta nuestro próximo destino, Le Castellet. Inmediatamente estamos rodeados por los famosos viñedos de denominación de vino Bandol, y, como si estuviéramos en una película de viaje por carretera, zigzagueamos por la típica campiña provenzal brillante. Hacemos una parada obligatoria para probar algunos de estos estupendos vinos, mientras aprendemos y entendemos qué hace que las variedades de uva aquí sean tan especiales. Continuamos hacia Le Castellet y su famoso castillo donde visitaremos tiendas esotéricas, calles sinuosas, y tendremos una vista de 360 grados de viñedos, montañas y el mar. Una ubicación increíble en el corazón del distrito Var de Provenza. Después del almuerzo continuaremos hacia los puertos más bellos y auténticos de toda Provenza, el famoso Sanary-sur-mer. El pueblo medieval está catalogado como uno de los "Bypass más bellos de Francia". Ollioules nos da la bienvenida al pie de su castillo feudal y nos invita a descubrir, a través de arroyos y fuentes, más de treinta tiendas de artesanías y artesanos, y un mercado de agricultores colorido y próspero los jueves y sábados. Recorreremos los callejones del distrito medieval, miraremos las casas antiguas y contaremos historias. Sube al castillo al pie de la cresta "Big Brain", cuenta lo que sucedió aquí y contempla el pueblo y el fascinante mar Mediterráneo.

El hermoso pueblo feudal ha sido ampliamente publicitado por ser el anfitrión de la famosa carrera automovilística internacional Paul Ricard. Desde el estacionamiento, anidado entre viñedos, subiremos al pintoresco pueblo ubicado en la cima de una colina. Observaremos las encantadoras casas y las pequeñas plazas rodeadas de antiguas casas de piedra cuidadosamente restauradas. Disfrutaremos de sus pequeñas calles ventosas y visitaremos interesantes tiendas y puestos de artesanía. Por la tarde tendremos tiempo libre para rendirnos a las acogedoras terrazas de una gran cantidad de restaurantes. Desde el paseo marítimo del castillo del siglo XV, descubriremos una extraordinaria vista panorámica de St. Baum Ridge, y los famosos viñedos de Bandol nos seducirán.
¡Llegaremos al colorido muelle del pequeño puerto pesquero e inmediatamente nos enamoraremos de él! En este pueblo provenzal, con su ambiente mediterráneo, sus fachadas coloridas, sus calles animadas, contaremos la historia del puerto y su relación con los vecinos Ollioules. Sanary recibió condecoraciones heroicas en la Segunda Guerra Mundial, ¿a quién protegió de los nazis? ¿Y por qué un pequeño pueblo de pescadores se enfrentó al Tercer Reich?

This was one of the highlights of our entire trip. Sarit is an incredible guide who knew so much about Toulon, Le Castellet and Evenos (our favorite town of all the ones we visited). Would highly, highly recommend her.
Tour was changed a little to accommodate one member of our group in a wheelchair. Dan was WONDERFUL!!!

We were in Toulon on a cruise ship and had the most delightful tour with our guide, Sarit. It was private, just my husband and I, so we could take our time to enjoy each location. First we visited Sanary Sur Mer, and it was so charming. Sarit took us there first so we could enjoy the local "farmers" market. I could have spent all day there, she showed us many great local shops and helped us find local treats. Next we went to Castellet for some great shopping and Crepes at a cute cafe. Sarit was wonderful sharing history and information as we went along. We ended the tour with Evenos (hilltop, think "heaven") with amazing views. I loved our day with Sarit, and I highly recommend this tour, you will have so many wonderful memories and colorful photos.

Excellent walking tour of three very unique and different towns in Provence. Sarit is very knowledgeable about all aspects of the area, the history, relevance, architecture, land and culture. She is extremely flexible and wants to make sure you see what you are most interested in. Not only did we spend time in each village, we did a wine tasting and had a unique lunch. Can't say enough about her expertise and graciousness. Take the time to do this tour! It is well worth it!!
