Únase a este tour grupal que lo llevará a la ciudad costera atlántica de Essaouira, con traslados de ida y vuelta desde Marrakech. Essaouira es una atracción de visita obligada, con su paseo marítimo y sus murallas, su playa, su cultura pesquera, su escena artística, su barrio judío y mucho más. Tendrás tiempo suficiente para pasear por la ciudad como quieras, antes de regresar a tu hotel en Marrakech.

En esta excursión, los invitados serán recogidos y conducidos a Essaouira en un automóvil cómodo con pocas pausas en lugares agradables para descansar. Pararemos en un gran campo de argán para tomar unas bonitas fotografías. Descubra los árboles de argán que sólo crecen en Marruecos y América Latina. Si lo deseas, puedes dejar de probar el aceite de Argán en una pequeña cooperativa de mujeres donde se extrae el aceite de Argán. Este aceite es muy famoso por sus usos en la cocina y especialmente en el campo de la cosmética. Pararemos nuevamente después de un par de kilómetros más adelante, hay una vista panorámica de Essaouira, un pequeño pueblo azul y blanco que recuerda a las ciudades portuarias bretonas. Una vez que llegue al puerto, podrá realizar su propia visita a la antigua Medina de Essaouira y almorzar donde quiera. Se unirá al conductor en el mismo punto de entrega para que lo recojan y, por la tarde, regresará a Marrakech en su cómodo transporte. Le dejaremos en su hotel/Riad en Marrakech.

Your tour would have been 10 times better if the tour guide had shared the history of Morocco and some interesting facts about the country.
Enjoyable day trip out the city. Women’s cooperative was interesting and well run. The lady there spoke fluent English and French to our group and was very welcoming. Also there was no pressure to buy anything which was a relief. The drive into the mountains was really picturesque. The walk to the waterfall was enough to feel like you’d done a good walk without feeling too strenuous. It was lovely to see the villages and countryside. Lunch was nice, and included in the price. Our guides, Mustafa who drove us and Hussain who did our walk were both excellent.

Omar was the best tour guide ever. If he was leading and supporting Frodo instead of Sam the LOTR trilogy would have been a single movie. He was so tentative, patient, interesting and knowledgeable that he himself was as much an attraction as the rest of the day. If you’re worried about your fitness level or hiking capabilities. Don’t be. I almost cancelled after overthinking if I could do the hiking part after rolling my ankle on a mountain hike in the past and being a pretty big fella. The outcome was that there was nothing to worry about and I was rewarded with an incredible experience for remaining calm and resilient. There was one lady who was physically challenged in a few ways. Omar took it upon himself to be her personal guide and Sherpa and held her hand regularly to ensure she safely completed the climb and decent. The food was stunning. The best thing we ate. So bountiful and filled with love put in by the family who’s home we were welcomed in as guests. The camel ride was very calm as the animals were very chilled and relaxed as were the gentlemen that look after them. And the Argan oil location was also impressive - I’ll leave that as a surprise to you all. There was also a few road side stops for photo opportunity and leg stretching moments for good measure which were cool. We also came together and connected well in our group of 8 sharing stories of our time in Marrakesh so far and where we all came from. This certainly added to the day as everything was more fun that way. Be sure to bring plenty of Dirham for tips here and there to show gratitude. Believe me, you will want to. As you’ll be treated impeccably all day long. Thanks again Omar and all the best for the future.

Rachid is an incredible guide! Rachid was seriously an amazing tour guide and was so passionate and knowledgeable about everything! He took us to his family’s home for a home cooked meal and we were able to learn so much about Moroccan culture. You cannot get a better deal on an excursion and it’s sooo worth it.
