This walking food tour was easily one of the highlights of our trip to Lima. Our guide was fantastic, knowledgeable, warm, and clearly passionate about sharing the city’s culinary and cultural history along the way. It never felt rushed; every stop had a purpose, and the pacing made it easy to enjoy both the food and the conversation. The food itself was the real star. Each dish gave us a genuine taste of Peruvian cuisine, and it was a great introduction to flavors we would not have found on our own.
Very good four tour and introduction to Lima. Yoced was an excellent guide and provided interesting information throughout the tour.
Our Lima food and city tour with Yoced was a great experience! We enjoyed tasting the delicious local food while learning more about Peruvian food culture, traditions, and lifestyle. Joseph was knowledgeable, friendly, and made the tour very enjoyable. Overall, a wonderful experience. Kudos to our tour guide Yoced! Highly recommended! 🇵🇪
Yoced is a charming, funny and expert tour guide. As a solo female traveller, I was slightly nervous but from the moment I arrived, Yoced was attentive and kind. I had questions beyond the food tour and Yoced was ready to answer all of them really thoroughly. It felt more like a conversation with a knowledgeable and funny friend rather than a tour you pay for. He made sure everyone in the tour was happy and taken care of. If I visit Lima again, I'd love to go on different tours with Yoced.
Our guide Joseph was a wonderful, friendly and knowledgeable guide. The history, stories were great. We really enjoyed the food, the experience walking through the market.
Yosed was a fantastic guide. His English was very good and took us to try so many different foods in the downtown area. He also brought his iPad to explain the history behind certain foods. Highly recommend as you will go to places that you wouldn’t find on your own.
Definitely one of the better food tours. Giovana was our tour guide and she was amazing. The food was great; the cow heart was my favorite. She was knowledgeable about the Peruvian history. She made the tour amazing. Definitely recommend!
Gia was a great tour guide/host. She seemed to really love what she does and she was very knowledgeable. The insight she gave into the culture of Peruvians changed our outlook on this trip. She was easy to communicate with, had a great personality, wore a smile the entire time and the "optional" time she spent with us after the tour was invaluable. Her food choices allowed us to check some items off our personal lists. She is going to be great in everything she does. The tour, knowledge and history were well worth the price.
Joseph was very good. He was very knowledgeable about the history and the food. The food was delicious.
This was absolutely wonderful! Lima is a mecca for delicious street foods, and it was so great to get a chance to try so many, especially since the sellers were vetted as having safe practices for the digestive systems of travelers. I'm really glad I did this at the start of my trip, because it gave me a better idea of some of the treats I'd want to have again and again throughout my travels. The portions were satisfying but didn't leave you feeling overstuffed. Overall, a really terrific tour!
