Desde el punto de encuentro, el guía le dará una idea de la historia de esta ciudad renacentista y de cómo este increíble movimiento cultural del Renacimiento transformó no solo Florencia sino, finalmente, el resto de Europa. La guía comenzará con Piazza Della Republica, la plaza principal de Florencia que marca el centro de la ciudad. Después de una pequeña charla sobre la historia y los cambios de Piazza Republica desde su origen, caminará directamente a la maravillosa obra de arte, la Piazza Della Duomo. Un espectáculo de Filippo Brunelleschi, Giotto, Arnolfo y Francesco Talenti.
Camine pasando por la Plaza del Duomo, el guía lo llevará directamente a través de los edificios antiguos y algunos de los hitos históricos de Florencia hasta el Palazzo Vecchio, donde la escultura de David (el original está en la Galleria dell'Accademia) de Miguel Ángel se coloca fuera del Palazzo Vecchio como símbolo del desafío de la República a los tiránicos Medici.

We were sent a notice about one hour before the tour that our tour had been cancelled. And a full refund would be coming. I asked for a confirmation that a return was coming and there was Zero response. Very unprofessional.

Walking tour. Headphones made it very easy to hear the guide. Small group was a nice way to learn about the town. However I felt it concentrated very much on the religious features of Florence, which, while of some interest, was certainly not my only interest. If you didn’t have a knowledge of Christianity you would be wasting your time.
