Excellent trip one way from Westminster to Tower to see the sights and a great end to a day sightseeing in London. Thanks very much and we shall see you again
Basic ride down the Thames. Easy to find pier. We used it mostly for the transportation from the Tower of London to Westminster.
This was a nice activity to do on the day we arrived, tired and sleep-deprived, in London. It provided a nice overview of the city without much effort on our part! The guide was very knowledgeable and the kids had a good time too.
A “flexible” time ticket is useless. No room on the boat at the time we wanted AND the next TWO times were cancelled so we didn’t get to go. Trying to get a refund
We enjoyed our cruise from Greenwich to Westminster, and thought the experience itself was well worth the cost. There is very little commentary between Greenwich and the Tower of London, but then there are few points of major interest along that portion of the Thames. The commentary from London Tower Pier to Westminster was very good, both informative and entertaining. However, be aware that published schedules may not be met. On a Saturday in July we had checked the time table and seen that boats were scheduled to leave the Greenwich pier every 40 minutes. We arrived for the 3:10 departure to find that it had been cancelled (due to a mechanical issue). We were directed by staff to return by 3:40 for the next boat at 3:50, which we did. That boat did not arrive until 4:10, and then the crew had to take a mandatory break until 4:30. We didn't leave until about 4:40, almost an hour late following an extended pause. Obviously, mechanical and other issues can arise, but our experience suggests that you should not incorporate this option into a time-sensitive day plan.
Wonderfully informative tour. Be sure to start at Greenwich and end at Westminster for the full tour. Bring a hat to sit on top if you go in the summer. Also bring a few pounds to tip the tour guide if you like him or her - not required but appreciated.
Well that was a non-event. We showed up after our London wheel ride, and was told the last trip for the day had left at 19:30. All the river cruises we have booked in cities across Europe, the cruises ran at a minimum until sun set, with many offering night cruises. This was not the case in London. With a full day of activities, We expected a cool evening on the thames. Instead we were shafted by fine print buried on page three. If you’re planning a trip, read everything carefully all the way through.
Nice ride on a large boat. Good way to see the London attractions from the river. Live commentary was good.
Very informative, great service, food and drink on board too. Lovely way to see London by water. Plenty of time slots available
