Visitarás la Hacienda cafetera El Ocaso y tendrás la oportunidad de plantar algunas semillas, recoger cerezas del café e incluso deleitarte con el sabor de una taza de café colombiano fresco. • Un tour guiado por la finca y sus plantaciones • Conocer el proceso completo de cultivo de café, desde su siembra hasta su tostión • Recoger cerezas del café y plantar semillas • Una breve lección sobre el gran valor del café para los caficultores y la economía del país en general • Cata de café colombiano de alta calidad

Itinerario
Serás llevado a Luger, una finca cafetera tradicional con años de historia, donde encontrarás hermosas vistas y una atmósfera relajante, pero, sobre todo, hectáreas repletas de plantaciones de café. Una vez ahí, conocerás a nuestro guía experto en café. El te conducirá a lo largo de las diferentes zonas de la finca, con el fin de explicarte las fases que tiene el café e invitarte a participar en algunas de ellas como plantar una semilla y recoger cerezas de los arbustos de café, por ejemplo. Después de ser testigo y parte del proceso del café, irás a ver sus últimas fases como el tostado y a veces la molienda.

Excellent tour, you know more about the history of Salento, our guide Pedro very knowledgeable of the history, additional gave us additional recommendations (use of blocker, repellent, etc) that are indispensable! The tour of the Finca Luger with Gerardo incredible, makes you see the coffee from a different and enjoyable perspective, the delicious coffee! Super recommended!

Great! Kevin is a fantastic guide. He showed us Salento, sharing the history of the city, the region and the country. Then we went to the Luger estate and learned about the process of harvesting, drying and roasting the coffee. Of course, we start with a cup of excellent coffee! We even participate in the roasting process! Marlon, our host on the estate, is a man with immense knowledge and a gift for sharing it. And with a great sense of humor! 😄 In between, the owner prepared us a local snack. And in the end, we were able to enjoy the coffee we had helped to roast. A fantastic experience! Essential for coffee lovers!

Absolutely amazing. Our tour guide, Marcela, was phenomenal. The staff at Finca Luger goes above and beyond to explain the entire coffee process. Truly a remarkable experience. Pro tip: bring shoes you don’t mind ruining and do not forget a rain coat. It rains every afternoon. I highly recommend Gran Colombia Tours and all of their staff/partners.

Great experience. Guide Marcela is a fabulous person. The finca Luger is super interesting and the quality of the local guides is top. they have answers to all the questions and the tour that explains us the whole manufacturing process, up to making our own cup of coffee (excellent) is exciting. Small but environmentally friendly finca and 100% organic coffee. A half day to do absolutely...
I had a real surprise today. We are not tourism specialists and we are not coffee superspecialists. But today, starting with the first contact at the airport and the activities throughout the day, with wonderful routes, with visits to the coffee farm "of the forest" where we met real enthusiasts, everything was wonderful. We bow to the real professionals and thanks to Gran Colombia Tours, thank you Adriana Luz Jaramillo for making us feel at home, Andrés and the other wonderful boys of the estate, were wonderful. and I drank the coffee at the end, with invaluable information. The guides were very nice, but the tour itself felt rushed (at one point the boss shouted to our guide in Spanish to hurry up). There was very little coffee served during the tour - one tiny cup at the start, and one tiny cup at the end. And it wasn't especially good coffee either. parts of the tour felt very much like a dog and pony show... I found out later that not all of the information given was correct. I think the price I paid - about $150 USD - would be fair for a couple, but is extortionate for a solo traveler considering the experience.

When you are a solo traveler, all of these expenses are carried by one person rather than a group, which can make the experience seem more expensive.
