Iddir (Romeo Santos from Morocco) is an excellent guide; he constantly made sure to translate for us since we do not speak English and ensured that everything was fine, very kind 100%. Very grateful.
Iddir Was the best guide... really nice and could speak more then 5 languages fluently
Iddir was the best guide we could ever had to guide us through Morocco. He is very friendly, open to questions and has a very deep knowledge of everything he showed us. He always had good disposition and put the group confortável and at ease. If you are looking for a guide dont think twice, Iddir is your man!
Excellent tour, an incredible experience; we had an amazing driver who was our guide, host, and above all, a great person. Omar was the best...
Guide Omar is an excellent driver, guide, and person. He was always attentive to ensure we had an excellent time. Very patient and indicated everything very well. Thank you, Omar.
This 3-day tour was the absolute highlight of our trip to Morocco. The Sahara experience in Merzouga was unforgettable. Riding camels into the dunes at sunset was pure magic, and sandboarding was incredibly fun. We stayed in a luxury desert camp, where we enjoyed a traditional dinner and live Berber music around the bonfire under the stars. The next morning topped it off with a thrilling Jeep ride at sunrise. What truly elevated this experience from great to perfect, though, was our amazing driver and guide, Mehdi. From the moment we started in Fes until he safely dropped us off in Marrakech, Mehdi was absolute perfection. He was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing fascinating insights about Moroccan culture and geography along the way. More than that, he was extremely helpful, kind, and genuinely sympathetic, always making sure we were comfortable and happy. His warm personality made the long drives feel short and filled the journey with great energy. Highly recommended! A huge thank you to Mehdi for making this trip so special.
We honestly do not understand how this tour has received so many positive reviews. We were left extremely disappointed by an experience from which we had very high expectations. Even before the tour started, the agency showed very little consideration for its customers. We contacted them for confirmation and received no reply until the evening before departure. Unfortunately, things only got worse from there. The transportation vehicle was extremely cramped and claustrophobic. The seats were so close together that we spent most of the journey with our knees pressed against the seat in front of us. There was no space to keep a backpack between our legs, so all bags had to be placed overhead or in the trunk. The air conditioning was rarely turned on, or at least not enough to make any difference, leaving us sitting in sweat for most of the trip. Almost all of the advertised stops were skipped. There was no stop in Ifrane, no visit to the cedar forest, no stop at the monkey forest because the guide claimed the monkeys were “aggressive” at that time of year, and no stop in Midelt. The transfer times to the desert were also far longer than the advertised time. Upon arrival in the desert, the instructions were confusing. We were told to leave our luggage at a common collection point, and it would somehow be delivered to our tents later. Fortunately, we had booked the Luxury option, as the standard tents did not have air conditioning. The sandboarding activity was particularly disappointing. It consisted of being handed a snowboard and being told to sit on it and use it like a sled down the dunes. This was not what we expected from a sandboarding experience. The visit to the Todra Gorge lasted no more than 15 minutes. The Rose Valley was barely mentioned while passing through. The hotel in the Ouarzazate region was dirty, the rooms were full of flies, and the electricity kept cutting out. Finally, the advertised visit to Atlas Studios was completely skipped. The only actual visit we did, included in the tour, was Ait Ben Haddou, where we were taken by a guide who simply led us up a long uphill walk under the scorching sun and provided very little information, despite collecting an additional €2 per person. Overall, this tour felt very different from what was advertised. We understand that itineraries can sometimes change, but when so many key stops and activities are omitted, customers should be informed in advance and expectations should be managed accordingly. Unfortunately, this experience did not provide the value or quality we were promised. It often felt less like a tour and more like a race to get us to the next destination as quickly as possible. We even arrived back in Marrakech in the afternoon rather than the evening, making it even harder to understand why so many stops were skipped.
The desert experience was very good, and quad biking is highly recommended. The other spots were also very worth seeing. Unfortunately, the bus rides were rather exhausting, as the space per person, especially regarding legroom, is very limited. For lunch, you can plan a fixed budget of 120 to 140 Dirhams for each day, as it only stops at restaurants that always offer almost the exact same thing. The tour is recommended, as it offers a lot in terms of experiences and sights (especially for the price). A must for a vacation trip through the country.
Had a very nice trip with our tourguide Ali both in the desert and the days after. Very nice accommodation
This is a very informative tour giving you an insight to Southern Morocco. Our guide Ali was very informative, patient and helpful with the group. I advise on paying the extra for deluxe tent as a shower at the end of the day is welcomed. Communicate with all the guides and local people you meet, embrace the culture and you’ll have a fantastic time. Once again, Shukran Ali…..until we meet again brother….Inshallah.
