Monte da Guia es un cono volcánico con dos cráteres semicirculares. Desde esta ubicación tendrá una vista privilegiada de la playa de Porto Pim y de la ciudad de Horta.
Monumento de Nossa Senhora da Conceição, desde este lugar se puede ver el centro histórico de la ciudad y la bahía de Horta por un lado y, por el otro, la Praia do Almoxarife. También podrás ver la vecina Isla de Pico y el punto más alto de Portugal, la Montaña de Pico. En los días sin nubes todavía se puede ver la isla de São Jorge y Graciosa. ¡Sin duda un lugar con una vista privilegiada!
De camino a Caldeira do Faial tomaremos una carretera con excelentes vistas de toda la parroquia de Flamengos. Esta es la única parroquia de la isla que no tiene mar a su alrededor y está rodeada de montañas y volcanes.
Situada en el centro de la isla, Caldeira es el verdadero ex-libris de Faial. Es uno de los cráteres volcánicos más grandes de las Azores, que estuvo en el origen de la isla, mide unos 2000 metros de diámetro, siete kilómetros de perímetro y 400 metros de profundidad.
Lugar de gran belleza volcánica. Es una de las mayores atracciones turísticas del Atlántico, especialmente de las Azores. Su paisaje nos remite a un ambiente lunar. Disfrute del contraste del gris de las arenas con el verde de las colinas y el azul del cielo y del mar.
Visitaremos las Piscinas Naturales de Porto do Comprido. Estas piscinas se formaron por rocas basálticas, resultado de la solidificación de lava incandescente en el mar.

• El servicio de recogida para la excursión tendrá lugar entre las 9:15 y las 9:30 de la mañana. Por favor, esté preparado y esperando en el punto de recogida durante este período. Dado que recogeremos a otros participantes en diferentes lugares, el guía no podrá esperar mucho tiempo. Podrás identificar fácilmente al guía, que irá en una furgoneta Opel gris. * El servicio de recogida en el aeropuerto solo está disponible para tours privados. Si ha reservado una excursión privada, por favor facilite su número de vuelo en el momento de la reserva para que podamos hacer un seguimiento de su llegada.

Ramiro was extremely responsive and helped us customize the tour a bit for our needs. He's extremely personable and the tour has a nice mix of explanation as well as self exploration. My whole family was very happy with it!
