Nuestro recorrido a pie Talking Through Art ofrece una auténtica diversión, información y una visión personal única de la cultura, la historia y la vida cotidiana de Gikondo. Tendrá la oportunidad de explorar algunas de las áreas ocultas de nuestra comunidad local, sumergiéndose en la cultura ruandesa y la vida cotidiana en esta bulliciosa y vibrante área de Kigali. ¡Su recorrido a pie estará dirigido por un guía local que ha vivido y trabajado en Gikondo toda su vida y es una gran cantidad de información interesante! Lo llevaremos a uno de los bulliciosos mercados callejeros tradicionales del vecindario, donde podrá explorar productos locales frescos y disfrutar del ambiente animado. Nos detendremos para tomar un delicioso refrigerio de sambusa recién cocinado y tomaremos un descanso en una lechería cercana donde podrá probar el ikivuguto frío, una bebida tradicional de Ruanda.

I really enjoyed this walking tour in Kigali with TTA. Our local guide Omar was the best we could have wished for. He connected small neighbourhood details to the bigger picture of Kigali and Rwanda’s history and culture. This way we could really feel the city. He was clearly a part of the community, people greeted him along the way, which made the experience feel authentic and personal. I came away with a much deeper understanding of Kigali and would highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in meaningful local insight rather than just sightseeing.

We got a really good tour through the neighborhood together with a knowledgeable and friendly guide. Through him we could easily visit the streets beyond the “ordinary”, see regular shops and experience the pulse of the city. We were a bunch of friends and had a long series of questions that the guide was happy to answer. Highly recommend this hike, as well as a visit to their nice shop!

I thoroughly enjoyed the Talking Through Art walking tour. The tour allowed me to walk the roads where the people of Rwanda live and get a glimpse of the neighborhood and how the community works. My tour guide was a lovely young man who was knowledgeable of the area and curious about other cultures and communities. The weaving that was done by the local women was outstanding. I only wish I had more room in my suitcase! I highly recommend this tour.
