Nuestra ruta nos lleva a algunos de los lugares más remotos, salvajes y espectaculares del suroeste - todos unidos entre sí en carriles de campo somnolientos con muy poco tráfico. Esta zona es extremadamente hermosa, pero puede ser montañosa, y aquí es donde las bicicletas eléctricas entran en juego. Nuestra ruta durará 2.5-3 horas y nos llevará por algunos caminos encantadores hacia los acantilados, con un salón de té y pub local en el camino si le apetece un refresco. Para acceder a algunos de los lugares más interesantes (por ejemplo, una cabaña de madera de naufragio construida en la cara del acantilado en el siglo XIX) estacionaremos las bicicletas e iremos a pie durante 15 minutos, así que por favor tenga en cuenta llevar zapatos en los que se sienta cómodo caminando también. Tenga en cuenta que todavía se requiere un buen nivel de condición física para operar las bicicletas y caminar hacia los acantilados. Las bicicletas tienen un límite máximo de peso del ciclista de 120 kg.

I really enjoyed the e-bike tour to Hartland Quay, especially as it was somewhere I would never have found on my own. It was a picturesque route and Hartland Quay itself had fantastic scenery and interesting stories to tell. David was friendly, considerate and knowledgeable - an excellent guide! I would highly recommend the tour and hope to do another in future.
If you want a great time and a chance to effortlessly ride through country lanes then the bike tour is a must. David is the best tour guide in Cornwall and knows where to get great cake!!

I booked David’s electric bike tour over May half term with my husband, two boys (aged 18 & 21 ) and their respective girlfriends. We had an amazing time and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. The bikes are such fun! It is a perfect activity to do with your whole family even if you have mixed abilities (this tour caters for everyone !) David is a lovely, knowledgeable guide who led us through quiet country lanes out and back to the coast on the electric bikes and a short walk to view Hawker’s Cabin (built from wood from shipwrecks hundreds of years ago). Before heading back, we even enjoyed hot chocolates in a beautiful tea rooms. If you’re looking for something to do near Bude, you will not be disappointed. We look forward to returning one day.
