Discover the Avenida del Mar, famous for Salvador Dalí’s sculptures, and explore the charming old town, seafront promenade, and picturesque squares. Next, we head to Puerto Banús, where you'll have 45 minutes of free time to explore this exclusive marina, filled with luxury yachts, high-end shops, and lively cafes. Finally, we visit Mijas for about 2 hours and 30 minutes, including entry to the CAC Museum to admire Dalí and Picasso collections, as well as the second-largest Picasso ceramic collection in Europe. You’ll have time for lunch and to explore this charming white village.

My sister and I enjoyed this excursion overall and were glad to have the opportunity to visit both Marbella and Mijas. The destinations themselves were beautiful, but we felt the schedule could be improved to allow more time to enjoy them. Our first stop was Marbella, where we arrived shortly after 9:00 a.m. on a Sunday. While the town was lovely, many of the shops were still closed, and the beach area was very quiet. We were given just over an hour to explore before heading to Puerto Banús, where we spent about 45 minutes admiring the luxury yachts and waterfront atmosphere. Although Puerto Banús was worth seeing, we felt that arriving later in the morning or having more time in Marbella would have made for a better experience. The highlight of the day was definitely Mijas. This charming white village was everything we hoped it would be. We visited the CAC Museum, where we enjoyed viewing works by Picasso and other contemporary artists, sampled local wines at a rooftop bar with beautiful views, and had a delicious lunch at a local restaurant. Mijas was picturesque, full of character, and offered some of our favorite moments from the excursion. Our only disappointment was the amount of time allocated in Mijas. With only about two hours, it was difficult to fit everything in. Between visiting the museum, enjoying lunch, and stopping for wine tasting, we had very little time left to wander the streets, browse the local shops, and shop for souvenirs. We would have loved at least another hour to explore at a more relaxed pace. Overall, this is a good excursion for travelers who want a brief introduction to Marbella and Mijas in a single day. However, we felt Marbella was scheduled a bit too early in the morning, and Mijas deserved more time than it was given. Even so, we left with wonderful memories, beautiful photos, and a greater appreciation for the beauty of the Costa del Sol.

A beautiful excursion. The guide Zuzana is very kind and clear. Mijas was what we liked the most. The contemporary art museum is very interesting.

We had a wonderful day yesterday on the tour to Marbella and Mijas with Jesus (the driver) and Carlos (the guide). Everything was organized extremely well from start to finish. Carlos was very professional, punctual, and organized throughout the entire trip. He made sure all safety rules were followed and always kept the group well informed about timings and arrangements. He shared many interesting cultural facts and local information about all the places we visited, which we really liked. Carlos was friendly and very well spoken, therefore very easy to understand. Our guide Benjamin was entertaining and knowledgeable. This was a nice half day tour of three areas Marbella and the port and Marbella as well as Mijas. Great little places and beautiful as well. The directions for pick up points was very clear. We ended up staying in Mijas on our own for longer.
