Explorando Mylapore: Un recorrido cultural e histórico a pie

Durante esta caminata, visitarás el templo en compañía de nuestro guía experto. También caminaremos por los alrededores, donde podrás ver Mylapore en todo su caos multitudinario. Los joyeros, comerciantes de seda, vendedores de frutas y verduras y vendedores de flores en los bazares proporcionan un colorido telón de fondo al templo. El paseo nos lleva por pequeñas callejuelas con casas de estilo antiguo, por tiendas de seda, tiendas de música y recuerdos religiosos, auditorios 'kutcheri', etc. Visite el templo Kapaleeshwara, la iglesia Santhome y camine por las calles de Mylapore durante este recorrido de 3 horas. El recorrido se realiza principalmente a pie con un breve tramo en un auto-rickshaw (tuk-tuk local) que están organizados e incluidos en el recorrido y finalizará con un refrigerio del sur de la India.

Great tour of Mylapore with a friendly and knowledgeable guide! I would not have understood most of what I was seeing in the temple without him, and the coffee and snacks we got at a local spot were a good chance to talk and for me to ask questions about local life. Great value for the cost!

We booked this tour for our first day in India to find out more about history, culture and religion. Rajesh met us on time and gave us an excellent tour of the Mylapore area. He was very knowledgeable about all of the sights we visited and we learnt a lot from him, especially about Hinduism. He took us to a cafe for delicious coffee and snacks and this was also a great opportunity to chat to him and he was very happy to answer all of our questions. Following the tour Rajesh was also really helpful in organising a driver for us to visit Mahibalipuram and go on to our next stop in Pondicherry at a very reasonable price.
