Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry that the experience did not meet your expectations. We would, however, like to clarify the circumstances for future guests. Your tour was scheduled to begin at 10:00 AM, but unfortunately your ship’s tender was delayed. Our driver-guide waited for your arrival and, rather than reducing your tour time because of the late start, provided the full five-hour private tour, finishing at approximately 4:15 PM. The additional amount was related to the extra time our driver-guide remained available beyond the originally scheduled service period. We do agree that any additional charge should have been clearly discussed and agreed upon beforehand, and we apologize that this communication was not handled properly. Most importantly, when you raised your concern and requested a refund of the additional $80, we immediately approved the refund in full as a gesture of goodwill. We always do our best to accommodate cruise passengers when circumstances outside their control cause delays. In this case, our driver-guide waited for your arrival, provided the full five-hour tour you had booked, and we promptly refunded the additional amount when you requested it. We appreciate your feedback and have addressed the communication issue with our team.
