Itinerario

Great experience. Be prepared for 7hrs but lots of stops along the way with bathroom breaks. Try the naan at the truck stop. The hike is short while steep.
This was amazing!!!! I saw so much, I have incredible pictures and memories. The guide was knowledgeable, helpful and funny!
I had such a great adventure trip with Dima at the Salt flats. He was very communicative about the itinerary and excited to share with us all the knowledge he had about Utah and the story of the Bonneville salt flats. This was great for me since I learned a lot. I definitely got more out of the trip than I had anticipated. Dima made sure that our tour was comfortable and exciting. He made plenty stops for us so we could enjoy the geography/topography and take photos. I enjoyed the mini hikes that brought us to some great landscape view. He also picked me up at my air bnb which he did not have to but it made my trip very comfortable. Dima is equally curious to learn about you so there is plenty of communication to be had during the 4-5 hour tour. I was traveling solo so I am very glad I did this trip. Would definitely recommend this for with Dima.
Everything was good. Driver was good. Four stars because he didn’t go to the last spot great salt lake as described in the itinerary.
Our tour guide Dima really cares about the people and their experience. He was knowledgeable and really thought thru the trip. We were informed that our tour would start later in the day, as Dima was trying to time it to sunset. I didn't know how much of a difference it was to be at the salt flat right at sunset! Dima not only made sure we were on the salt flat, he made sure that we also see it from a higher point of view, which is were some reviewers were mentioning the hike. I assure you that the hike was worth it! The view was spectacular and we even saw a mountain goat! We also got some amazing pictures because of Dima! He was an experienced photographer and knew how to pose us and get some incredible pictures! Although it was a very long tour, I believe we got way more than what we paid for, and we are so glad we decided to go with Dima instead of the other salt flat tours! He genuinely cares about the Salt Flat history and the people he gets to share this place with.

A must tour when in Salt Lake! The highlight of our vacation! 😍😁 Thank you so much., and thanks for the snacks, car seat and everything 😁
Guide was over an hour late. Didn’t follow the itinerary. Didn’t go to Salt Lake. When to a mountain to hike. Which wasn’t in the description. Guide offered a woman drugs. Just saying it was “medicine “. Very unprofessional. Luckily she did not accept.Talked incessantly about himself. To make things worse 2 hour late getting back to hotel..
Our day trip and tour out to the Bonneville Salt Flats was an absolutely unforgettable experience! Dmytro and his wife operate the Matei Travel tour company and their Mercedes sprinter van picked me up directly from my hotel. Dmytro is very knowledgeable about the history and the landmarks of Utah and provided a fantastic spoken overview during the drive from Salt Lake City Downtown out to Bonneville! There were 6 other guests on my trip. Bottled water and an assortment of snacks (granola, protein bars, gummy snacks) were provided throughout our trip, and Dmytro carefully planned stops for bathroom breaks! Our first stop on The Journey to the Edge of the World was the Tree of Life Art Installation, and then the Bonneville Salt Flat welcome/recreation area, where I was able to capture some incredible photos. We then drove into the mountains and went on a hike to points that overlook the flats. We stopped at a very unique gas station featuring spicy Indian cuisine and Indian snacks before driving to the Bonneville Salt Flats International Raceway and drove us out onto the flats for a truly unique perspective! This tour was an excellent way to experience the Bonneville Salt Flats from where I was staying in Salt Lake City without needing a rental vehicle! Dmytro is an incredible guide, and I would highly recommend this experience with Dmytro and Matei Travel!
