The trip started very badly. We were notified to meet at an address that did not exist, then we tried calling the number provided, but a message said the number was not in service. I sent message via the Viator site-- no reply. We asked several people nearby for help, and they tried. After about 30 minutes of this frustration, the boat captain phoned, apologized and told us where to drive to meet him. Then he took us, and other passengers we did not expect, to a different boat. Instead of boarding from a dock, we had to first ride in an inflatable launch, then have a difficult boarding by climbing over cables. Once aboard, the trip itself was quite enjoyable, with a good breeze filling the jib. The skipper was responsive to our many questions, and provided some glasses for our wine. Disembarking was similarly challenging, with the climbing. Needs some opening of rails and something sturdy to hold on to.
We loved it! Great views and our skipper was very friendly and answered any questions we had. There was a change in dock location and they made sure to tell us ahead of time.
Nice exit. Skipper very warm and inviting. Sublime sunset but activity that remains relatively expensive for what is proposed
Hello, I am really sorry that you feel that the trip is too expensive. There are cheaper trips as well, maybe you shoud book those ones. We have nice and modern 36ft sail yacht and our service is high quality. You can check all other reviews abnd you will see how other guests are extremely satisfied. I am sorry you did not have such an experience. Best
It was a beautiful evening, we sailed into the sunset off Zadar. We could enjoy the wind, the waves and the sea. The trip is highly recommended if you want to relax.
Great skipper Borko, and I really enjoyed the scenery and stories. The view was amazing and he helped me take some nice photos.
This was a fun little ride, but unfortunately not a top notch experience for us as a whole. I booked this excursion directly through their site - €50/person for a two hour sunset cruise with 0,4 wine and a plate of prosciutto and cheeses. After booked you get an email that says your order is being processed. By 15:30 that day we hadn’t heard from them so I emailed them, they said they didn’t have our reservation, so I forwarded the receipt. Finally they told us when and where to meet and sent us the welcome email. This email then tells you that wine and cheese is not included but that the price you paid is apparently lower than it used to be… great. We also didn’t notice this detail until after the trip. A year and a half into Covid you would think that they could just update the description on their website, right? Anyway - our skipper was kind and gave us water. It was a small boat which was intimate but not exactly comfortable. It was a good 2 hours but I wouldn’t sign up for longer and I’d recommend a better dinner and to BYOB.
Dear guests, when you write something it's nice to write you name as well. It's Tibor here. This review does not present our lifestyle and sunset experience. This is not food experience, so it's a pitty that you booked something where you did not read what we offer. This is sunset sailing. And the point is in new approach of sailing into the sunset. Snacks and wine that we used to offer were just an upgrade. But as we told you, prices are decreased. It's so much shame, you did not get the point.
best Sunset Trip ever! The Skipper Petar was really friendly. It‘s really recommendable when you‘re in Zadar! You‘ll Never regret it!
Everything was well organised, communication easy, everybody very flexible. Skipper, Petar, very nice. My family had the sailing boat exclusively for us which was brilliant. Due to COVID no wine and traditional food was served which was a shame! I do completely understand that you have to stick to it but unfortunately no price reduction or any extra feature instead...
Dear Sabine, thank you for your review. We offer romantic sunset trip for few years now and this trip is very popular. Due to recommendations of WHO we decided not to serve any food and drinks and we lowered the price. At the same time we encourage our guests to bring their own food and drinks free of charge. So, I think your review just did not show wide picture. Anyway, thanks for being our guest :)
They did not show up at all. Me, my wife and other people waited for an hour, but no one showed up at all, on top of that, we all tried calling 20 times, but no one picked up phone. Please avoid these guys at all cost.
Hey girls, I just think it's not okay to blame us for bad weather conditions. We've sent you a message over the system that weather forever is not so good and that maybe we will not be able to operate due to the security reasons. And we were waiting for the last minute to see if it will be safe to set sails. For you who do not have sail its not maybe easy to understand the situation on the sea and that's why we make a decision if it's safe or not to sail. That day we cancelled all our trips as well as as yours and made a full refund. So, one note for all guests who would like to ask book with us: If the trip will be canceled due to security reasons, you will be be fully refunded. Best wishes
“This couldn’t have been a better experience. We were greeted with a smile and a sense of calm warm welcoming way. David and Petra were both easy going(like the Croatian way of life) but still full of life and knowledge. It felt as if we were visiting friends somehow even though we’ve never met. They were so open and had great knowledge about Zadar, from history to advice on all the questions we asked. We didn’t feel rushed and didn’t feel uncomfortable at any time. It was private due to it being my boyfriend and best friend attending and it was very cosy. The view out into the ocean was as promised spectacular from the initial sunset to after the sun set and the clouds lit up in other colours. We gained knowledge of the islands as well that we were so curious about. We would recommend this above and beyond and can’t wait to return to Zadar and see the bigger boat next time ;)”
