Great experience learning the technique and history of the Japanese Archery. Staff were welcoming and the location was great near the Hiroshima castle. Highly recommend to do this tour if your in Hiroshima
Great experience with the Hiroshima archery 🏹 experience. Staff welcomed us and explained about the technique history and how to use archery. Highly recommend to do when u are in Hiroshima.
Kind and easy to understand. If you do exactly what you're told. Because it hits quite a target! I'd like to go there again!
A great activity to do while in Hiroshima, a lot harder than it looks! But great fun all the same, lovely inside room and very helpful, respectful teachers
This was my first experience with Kyudo. The staff is also very warm and kind and teaches me again and again from scratch, The dojo was also very clean and the dogi was cool enough to wear over the clothes, so it took no effort and time. It was a one-hour reservation, but I was able to shoot a lot of arrows. I was very kind to my husband who only spoke English. The staff were very good at using their time, even though there were some side stories from customers, changing clothes, explanations, etc., and they were professional staff who made the experience very satisfying. If I get the chance, I want to go again and again. I definitely recommend it. I'll make another opportunity to come. Thank you very much for your time♪ I'll definitely come again.
This was such a fun experience. I've always been interested in Kyudo (Japanese Archery) so this really was something I looked forward to. It was easy to find and the two teachers were wonderful. Very kind and helpful. I used the English service but even the teacher that only spoke Japanese was involved and helped me make adjustments. I really enjoyed my time and definitely recommend it to others!
We live in Florida and recently tried out a Kyudo (Japanese archery) experience with my husband and son! Since the guys don’t speak Japanese, we asked for English explanations. The instructors were amazing—they didn't just explain things in English, they also walked us through every single movement step-by-step. We were super nervous at first, but they totally put us at ease. We were so pumped when we actually hit the target! The place was spotless and had such a chill, relaxing vibe. A huge shoutout to the two female instructors for being so sweet and patient with us. We’d absolutely love to do this again sometime. Thanks for such an awesome time!
Great fun for my son and I this afternoon. The 2 ladies who ran it were friendly and charming
A wonderful experience. Very helpful, polite and patient staff. Would happily have spent another hour shooting arrows! Highly recommended.
Our Japanese Archery experience in Hiroshima was one of the most memorable activities of our trip to Japan. From the moment we arrived, the instructors were incredibly welcoming, patient, and passionate about sharing the history, philosophy, and traditions behind this beautiful martial art. What made this experience so special was that it was much more than simply learning how to shoot a bow. The instructors carefully guided us through every step, from proper posture and technique that make Japanese archery unique. If you're visiting Hiroshima and looking for a cultural experience beyond the usual sightseeing, I cannot recommend this highly enough. This was truly a highlight of our time in Japan and an experience we will never forget.
