Experiencias de escalada en roca en Avon Gorge

I went rock climbing with my three children, aged 8, 10 and 12, and we all had a brilliant experience. Everything was safe and very well organised. Our instructor was friendly, patient and gave excellent technical guidance, making sure each child felt confident and supported. It was great fun for the whole family, and we would definitely recommend it!

Fantastic morning climbing, something we have never done other than indoor climbing. Highly recommend, Rob's knowledge and encouragement were exactly what was needed to get us to the top. So much fun, although rather achy the next couple of days as used muscles I didn't know I had, lol!!! It was a fun and friendly small group and the experience lasted about 3.5 hours, brilliant morning and suitable for all ages as there were some younger climber in our group.

Rob guided me on a series of pitches at the gorge. Previously I've really only bouldered indoor to an intermediate level. I found the experience brilliant. Rob was super professional, clear in all instructions so I felt confident belaying and climbing. He led me up really exciting routes that increasingly challenged my foot and handwork, with a strong adrenaline buzz due to the height. Would absolutely recommend to anyone with some indoor experience seeking some real world climbing.

Did the Avon Gorge Climbing Experience this morning. It was my first time climbing outdoors after only doing indoor climbing for about a year, and the instructor was incredibly friendly and informative, and helped with pushing us to go further, without adding any pressure, as well as providing great information on safety. We also had the fortune of having lovely weather, which is always a bonus. All in all a great experience and we plan on doing more outdoor climbing in the furture.

My brother and I did the Avon gorge climbing morning yesterday. Rob, our instructor, was knowledgeable and made the whole experience exciting and challenging. We appreciated his informative remarks regarding not only the gorge itself but also the local wildlife and fauna. Safety is clearly one of his main priorities and his explanations of using the equipment was thorough and made us both feel completely at ease. Starting on the easier climbs and then moving up through the grades made us both feel challenged and we felt that we had a good balance. I would have no hesitation in recommending Up & Under Adventures and hope to do more sessions with them in the future.

We had Rob as our instructor, and he was fantastic! The whole experience exceeded our expectations and was much better than we could have imagined. He taught us how to tie the ropes and made the session very hands-on, which helped us feel involved and confident throughout. He was also very encouraging throughout the entire experience, always offering support and helping us build our confidence. We felt completely safe at all times thanks to his clear instructions, professionalism, and guidance. Thank you, Rob, for an amazing experience—we would absolutely love to come back and do it again! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Rob was knowledgeable , organised, patient, and attentive with our Avon Gorge rock climbing group. He was an excellent instructor and we could not be more satisfied with our session. I would highly recommend booking with Up and Under Adventures for a fantastic experience, even if you are a beginner!
