Not a lot of explanation about the traditional flower arrangement. Just do your thing st a flower shop. You have to pay more if you want to take it home.
Hello, thank you for your feedback, and I'm sorry if there wasn't enough explanation during your experience. The flowers used during the workshop are included in the lesson price, so there is no additional charge for them. If there was any misunderstanding, I sincerely apologize. We really appreciate your comments and will make sure to provide more explanation about the traditional aspects of the arrangement during future lessons. Thank you again for taking the time to share your experience.
My teacher was excellent. Very encouraging and kind. By the end of class , I had two arrangements to give to hosts in Japan.
Thank you so much for your kind review! 🌸 We're delighted to hear you enjoyed your ikebana experience and that your teacher made you feel encouraged and comfortable throughout the lesson. It’s wonderful that you were able to create two beautiful arrangements to share with your hosts in Japan—we hope they brought them as much joy as they brought you. We hope to welcome you back again in the future!
Had an amazing time. Got to do the class solo so I did 2 ikebanas. Highly recommend.

This was a lovely class! It was super interesting to learn about the ikebana principles and apply them to flower arranging.
Thank you for joining the ikebana class ☺️ It was lovely to have you, and I'm so glad to hear that you enjoyed learning about ikebana!
We had a lovely experience doing Ikebana flower arranging for the first time! The host was very knowledgeable and gave great suggestions and supported the types of flowers that we wanted to use. They had a great variety of beautiful flowers and greenery for us to use to prepare two vases each. It was fun wearing the provided smocks and working within a real flower shop. It is a bit chilly in the flower shop, so wear a warm shirt!
Thank you for your lovely review 😄 It was a pleasure having you at the workshop, and I hope you continue to enjoy the art of ikebana!
We had a fantastic time, she was very knowledgeable and the environment of the flower shop was lovely!

My husband and I enjoyed this experience very much. Aki, our instructor, shared the origin and history of ikebana. She guided us in our first attempts to make our floral arrangements. We had a lot of fun!
Thank you so much for joining the workshop together! I’m very happy to hear you both enjoyed the experience. It was a pleasure sharing the history of Ikebana and guiding you through your first arrangements :)
I absolutely didn’t expect this experience to be so deep and enriching. I thought I would discover a simple floral art… but I was truly surprised by the complexity, the meaning, and the philosophy behind each gesture, each space, each choice of flower. The instructor who guided me was wonderful: very patient, attentive, and full of thoughtful advice. Thanks to her, I was able to understand the spirit of Ikebana, take a step back, and find a moment of calm and reflection. It was almost meditative. The experience is poetic, soothing, and offers a genuine opportunity to look inward and explore one’s own sensibility. I learned so much, and I think this discovery might even awaken new passions! I highly recommend this activity to anyone wishing to discover Japanese art in a more intimate, authentic, and contemplative way. A true breath of serenity in the middle of the journey.
