Such a fun experience! Great to do with kids. It was quick and easy and the paper is so beautiful! Also they had a lot of other great items to purchase as gifts for friends and family. Located in a really fun part with shops and food! Highly reecommend!
We had a wonderful time learning about and making wagashi with Kazu-san. It’s a small studio above the bustle of Naksmise street that felt friendly and serene. It was a fascinating process, and so satisfying to actually be able to take away 4 beautiful postcards with us. Definitely worth experiencing to add a bit of dimension to our visit to Asakusa.
Had the best time! I learned so much and got to take home something beautiful as well! The instructors were so kind, and they took initiative to take photos and videos for me so that I could remember the entire experience. Such lovely people and a fantastic experience! 11/10!
Instructor gave detailed information about paper making. Good hands-on experience. Size of class was 4 students and this made individual attention available to us.
Such a wonderful experience! The staff was super knowledgable and helped me out every step of the way :) you can even shop around while you wait
A complete immersive experience! You get to dress up appropriately and make your paper with your own hands. It is authentic but easy to understand and perform. The teacher was very lovely and explained the process in English very well.
An amazing experience to learn how to make washi paper, especially as a tourist. Was a detailed and thorough demonstration whilst taking part in making your own paper. Was lots of fun, and definitely a must do activity for a special souvenir!!
This has been a very fun experience! Kazu was great in explaining each step and showing me how to make the paper, and the colors I got to choose from a beautiful array are beautiful and the paper turned out great! Highly recommend this workshop, for anyone! All of their paper products in the shop were very beautiful too!

One of the things I love the best about Tokyo is there is just so much to do and making Washi paper was high on the list! Kazu was patient, kind and knowledgeable. Perfect for small children and families alike. Must try!
