This isn’t the standard we aim to deliver, particularly when it comes to creating a friendly, engaging atmosphere both on board and in the water. We’ll be addressing this directly with our team. In terms of conditions, the water temperature around Rottnest Island can be quite cool, especially outside of peak summer, and we do our best to prepare guests for this ahead of time. For comfort and mobility, we provide wetsuits for all guests (long arm, short leg), while our crew wear their own personal gear. We’re sorry if this wasn’t clearly communicated or properly experienced on your tour, as it can make a big difference to enjoyment in the water. Regarding refreshments, we always have water available on board, and we’re sorry this wasn’t highlighted on the day. Our snacks and refreshments can vary slightly depending on availability, but we understand the importance of aligning with what’s advertised and will be reviewing this as well. We really appreciate you recognising the quality of the equipment provided, and thank you again for your honest feedback - it’s incredibly valuable as we continue to improve.

We did try to reach out to let you know the tour had been cancelled due to not meeting minimum numbers, but I’m very sorry that message didn’t get through to you at the time. I completely understand how frustrating it would have been to be left unaware - that’s not the experience we want for anyone booking with us. As outlined in our T&Cs, we do need to meet minimum numbers for departures to go ahead, and in this case a full refund has already been processed promptly. That said, the communication breakdown is on us, and we’ll be reviewing how we’re notifying guests so this doesn’t happen again. We really appreciate you taking the time to let us know, and I’m sorry again for the inconvenience caused.
